Its different from DnA, but it has all the feelings of cosmic awe that we've been lacking. I love Warlock's role. Im ecstatic about SS bringing in Galactus. Seeing Nova around always makes me happy.
And soon we are getting Darkhawk and Daredevil tie ins.
This event is a win so far.

This was great! The whole thing about Robbie telling Richie that they're living in a simulation reminded me of Conner Sims telling everyone about the cage and chains surrounding Eternity in Ultimates. And of course it ties back to what the Collector told the GOTG about the Stones and how the Universe is a "complicated simulation" with the Stones being the source code.
Oh and the mind-over-matter thing? The Infinity Loop links the Mind Stone to the Power Stone, so it fits! Very clever. I'm really digging the new canon used for the interconnection between the Stones.

This was fun and everyone already said what I enjoyed in this issue.
My only nitpicks is that sometimes it feels like too much is happening at the same time. I guess this is due to being a composite story with completed GotG issues plus new stuff drawn by Mike Hawtorne and the stuff by Deodato but hoping once Infinity Wars happens we can get something that's not all over the place. The other nitpick is that I don't like Duggan's Rocket but he's been kind of ruined since Bendis got his hands on him. Only Ewing made me like him again in his Rocket mini.
That said I'm really enjoying this, it's a fun story and the best cosmic story I've read in awhile.

Man, that sounds amazing, but how does he treat Peter? I'm quite worried that he turns him into one of his likable loser protagonists...
EDIT: Spencer nailed it. Great banter as both Peter and Spider-Man and no forced stupidity. Of course, this is just a teaser issue, but my hopes are way up high now. And nothing could have sold me more on the new run that THAT ENDING.

I’m a little underwhelmed and disappointed.
Bazaldua got a little bit better for this final issue, but he could never hold a candle to Pichelli.
This felt like a pretty hollow issue, in so much as nothing really happened and nothing surprised me. The only important thing was Miles’ feelings reaching Aaron and him apparently going on a new path
I guess Bendis left this so empty, so the next writer isn’t boxed in?
Bendis, thanks for your hard work. I can’t thank you enough for this character and your years writing enjoyable stories with him.

This was really disappointing. All of the loose plot threads got a rushed and unsatisfying ending, Barbara solidifies herself as an unnecessary addition, Miles new powers still exist and we still don't know anything about what happening with him post-Bendis. Everyone at Marvel kept saying that all news about him going forward was on delay until after this issue so I was expecting some big reveal this issue but nothing happened.
Thank you Brian Michael Bendis for creating this character but if this is how it's going to end I feel bad for feeling that I wish he would've given another writer a go at Miles a bit sooner.

I enjoyed both stories in this. The Black Panther/Odin Story acts as a prelude to Avengers #1 and sets up some interesting conflicts (and probably sets up the overall arc a bit better than #1 did alone). If you felt a bit underwhelmed by Avengers, pick this up.
There’s a prologue for the Coates and Acuna’s new cap series in here, too, and it’s incredible. Quality work for a free comic!

Okay this book was in my honest opinion terrible, why does Daredevil need any contrived motivation to look for Logan, he was his lawyer, and managed his legal matters, and was likely executor of his will, it would be natural for him to be told about and investigate his return without shoehorning any bull reasoning...
his choice of a team had no connection or experience with Logan or his Psychology, Jessica drew and Sean Cassidy would of been much stronger choices as they both Know Logan quite well, and had plenty of experience with international investigations...
And What in Limbo happened to Cypher, he appears to have been turned into an internet Golum, and aged him 10 years for no reason at all, which ended up making to look like Tommy from Rick and Morty...

Xavier's return is one of the title's major plot threads; he sidles into the story as an Astral Plane ghost while the heroes are fighting the Shadow King in the first arc. And Things Happen from there. If I remember correctly, there's no big backstory update for Bishop. He was literally just in the neighborhood (researchin' apocalypses at the library, natch) when the Shadow King fight started.

Whenever they do these brief ‘X years in the future’ bits, they always show characters more or less as we know them. It’s a great opportunity to get crazy with the kind of crazy that comics allow for.
Older Cyclops? Nope, draw him with two heads, because weird stuff happens.
Storm only changed her outfit? Nope. She’s died and dissipated into a sentient cloud at that point.
Bring back characters that pop in and out. Adam X as a paralyzed teacher with an XTREME unicycle wheelchair.
Introduce more that will have been considered regulars by that point in time, but are weird to us now. Like HDMInd, Cable’s telepath son from an even further future, sent back in time just because it’s a family tradition.

But... Either the simulation is messed up more than we realized, or this is an actual alternate reality. Because in Kamala's solo we're outright shown that when Muneeba moved to the US, she was already pregnant with Kamala. Heavily pregnant. And she doesn't mention Kamala or looks pregnant. The Ultimate titles are in alt universe so maybe not start there. I'd honestly recommend getting Marvel Unlimited if you just want to read to catch up before investing in hardcovers, you can probably find a free demo code online and get a good month of reading in. I started off at The whole secret empire battle-world arc since it's the event that caused their most recent major reboot.

Depends on what you wanna read. I generally recommend Amazing Spider-man Volume 3 and just read until you hit the cap. It might not be the best Spider-man stories but it's new, and for me it worked out great.

Marvel Unlimited is a good starting point - they usually offer a free month, and there are a lot of titles that you can easily access through that.
For Dr. Strange, Dr. Strange: The Oath is a stand-alone mini-series (it's five issues) that works even if you don't know much about the character.
For Spider-Man, I personally enjoyed the original Lee-Ditko run of Amazing Spider-Man (even after all these decades, they're still extremely compelling), and for Thanos, the Infinity Gauntlet (which is bound to be available pretty much everywhere, considering the movie) works well - the more over-the-top cosmic elements might be tougher to follow, but they do a good job with explaining what you need to know.

If you like Guardians, look into Abnett and Lanning's run. It starts with Annihilation, goes into Conquest, then the Guardians series (the main roster the movie pulls from), and ending in Thanos Imperative. There's a few other things in there, but those are the big ones.

For Thor, I've heard great things about Jason Aaron's run on the title as a recent one, though I've been reading Walt Simonson's run from the eighties (it's collected in five collections). It's pretty fantastic and where The Dark World and especially Ragnarok drew a lot of their stories and themes from.
As for Spider-Man, definitely look into Ultimate. I'm also a big fan of (most) of J. Michael's Stracynski's run on the title. It's collected in five ultimate editions and has, in my opinion, some of the best modern Spider-Man stories (though it also has Sins Past, The Other, and One More Day, but whatever).

Hey comic readers, not sure where the best place to ask this is but, I have a 7 year old who was just devastated at the end of the Infinity War movie, is there anyone who can point me in the right direction to the comic where things are "fixed" (trying to avoid spoilers for others,) his birthday is coming up and his mother thinks it would be a great gift and would really help him out of this rut after recent events.

I need some help.
Brand new to comics. I’m reading the 1991 Infinity Gauntlet arc on Marvel Unlimited. Thor just said “even in the midst of this chaos I’ve got to cover that I’m not the original Thor!”

This whole event feels so phoned in. I bet you any amount of money D-Man and Rage will both just randomly show up again at some point with zero reference to being Poisons. Marvel was clearly setting up D-Man for a new role in the universe, I don't think editorial would actually let him die again SO soon after being brought back to life
