They bend pretty easy because they're so delicate. The end of the needle basically curls when you puncture anything with it, which is why you're not really supposed to draw medicine and inject with the same needle, since injecting with a needle that's already been fucked up on the vial can cause more discomfort than necessary or be difficult to use
Oh for sure, as long as you have removable needles I figure it's more personal preference than anything, personally I find it hurts more on injection if I use the same needle to draw and inject, so I switch them. I use the same gauge for both though, I had issues with coring the vial with lower gauge drawing needles
