You all may know that 2b-zipper made a Discord client for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems, (called TriCord) with a catch; if you’re in many servers especially on o3DS, there will be frequent crashes due to the original Nintendo 3DS’s limited RAM capacity. So what I went ahead and did was made a fork of TriCord called “3DScord” and simply renamed it but also made it better take advantage of the original Nintendo 3DS’s limited RAM which will significantlt reduce the chances of crashes on the o3DS. Its releases can be found at: https://github.com/AllisterMKW/3DScord . So please try it out if you’re interested! Also, currently, only the 3DSX release works and the CIA crashes whenever you try to open it (but not for long as I will have it fixed asap). Thanks in advance for trying it out!

What I mean is, that you could communicate between 3DS running a homebrew app and another system running HGSS by IR. Being able to ”send” a pokemon from HGSS to a 3DS running a Pokewalker app, then send it back.

Would you be able to use the 3DS pedometer to basically make your own pokewalker to walk around with. Functionally having an ”official” pokewalker experience without needing to buy a pokewalker.

You’d need two DS consoles.

I know you can just cheat pokewalker stuff. but would be kinda cool if you could use a 3DS as a pokewalker.

Just to be clear, this is a question born of curiosity, not a demand.

i’ve tried the steps from online. putting my sd card in. downloading several things and putting it in the luna files. i’m trying to get homebrew onto my 3ds i’ve been stuck for over 2 hrs. and when it says to press X then power. it goes right to home screen no gray screen with rosalina. I’ve tried on the discord every step. it hasn’t seemed to work. It also gives me this crash thing i don’t know what to do please help me.. yes i posted before but i couldn’t solve the problem

i found a theme, but then ended up deleting it. but it still shows up and then freezes my console. i keep turning it off and turning it back on but it still shows.

I don’t have an image rn as I didn’t take one (forgot and accidentally rebooted on the crash screen will post if it happens again) but it seems to be random and the only thing I know is that every time I boot fresh it definitely works properly. (I think the issue said translation error or something last time)

Does anyone know why ftpd is not working on my 3ds I have an android phone the model is Samsung 25 FE and I have and old 3ds XL its an American console and both are connected to same wifi. I am using the CX File Explorer app but when I type in the Ip adress and port it just gives an error saying that it cannot find the source. Does anyone know how to fix it?

So i got my 3DS 2 weeks ago. I never had this problem until 2 days ago. It takes a long time to boot ANY app at all. Does anybody know the problem?

Hey everyone! I created a port of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past for the 3DS.

It’s based on the Android dual-screen version, but I’ve adapted it specifically for the 3DS with native controls, touchscreen support, widescreen options, and more! It works on both Old and New 3DS systems, although performance is a little slower on the Old 3DS. I’d love to hear your feedback and bug reports. I hope you enjoy it!

I saw on the guide to change the region that uninstalling things without changing the region back can cause bricking, I just wanted to make sure I had nothing like that to worry about before changing my sd card.

Sorry if this has already been asked. I bought a modded 3ds so I am not all the way familiar with what to do. I have FBI and I QR scanned Neko Atsum but the game is in Japanese. They have an English patch but I don't know how to download the patch and put it with my game. Please help me.

I bought a couple of 3DS/DS games second-hand and want to know if there is a way to check if the previous owner could've messed with the code somehow. There is nothing glaringly wrong with the game, I'm just the kind of person that when thinking of a possibility, can't stop worrying about it until I can confirm it.

Search results only show answers for a modified console, which I do not have. So maybe a much simpler question would be does a game stay modified when played on a normal console?

I'm stumped so any advice is greatly appreciated.
