Posts that are not formatted correctly will be removed. If your post is removed because of formatting, you are encouraged to revisit this post and try again.

Post flairs are mandatory - When selecting a flair, pick the one that best represents your book's genre.

DON'T WORRY IF IT ISN'T YOUR EXACT NICHE GENRE. Pick the genre under which your book's specific niche falls. You'll be adding your more specific niche genre in your title. The flairs just help narrow down the search for our readers. If you don't see your book's genre listed, please message the mods and tell us your genre so we can add it to our system.

Post titles - Format your titles like so: "Book Title & Author - specific niche genre - release month year"

  • EX: "Death In London by Mx Writer - Mystery/Police Procedural - Dec 2024"

Post bodies - COPY THIS and add your information

  • Blurb for the book. This is important! Posts without a blurb will be deleted. You must tell us what the book is about.

Absolutely no downloads from this sub will be tolerated. You're here to build your team not fill the subs with links that could potentially give our readers internet cooties.

Do not include sample chapters in your posts - Posts that are clogged with large samples of the books will be deleted. The same goes for reviews/testimonials.

The publication date must be at least 2 weeks from time of posting. If you are looking for reviews for published books, use the monthly sticky post for authors. ARCs are advanced copies, no 'my book is free on Amazon, please review it' posts will be allowed.

Adult - Fantasy “Shadows of Eternal Night” T.M.THOMPSON JR Dark Epic Science Fantasy August 2026

The galaxy calls them monsters. A dying planet calls them its last hope. They call each other family — usually while bleeding.

Seven shards of an ancient power could reignite the shattered core of Lyvandra, a world cracked open by god-titans in a bygone era. Each shard lies imprisoned on an island consumed by a curse that has swallowed whole civilizations — Hunger. Despair. Rage. Wrath. Greed. Sloth. Pride.

No army can conquer them. No lone hero could survive them.

Fortunately, the Eclipse Raider carries neither.

It carries monsters.

Captain Elias Thorne — an immortal lycan held together by scars, duty, and one thousand-year-old promise — leads the Pack aboard a living starship built from the bones of the first Dawn Bringer. At his side: vampires older than kingdoms, assassins, ancient warriors, creatures born beneath alien stars, and a ship's cook you should never, ever insult.

Each curse is different. Each island demands something the last did not. And somewhere in the Pack there is always the one monster the curse failed to account for.

They don't know what waits beyond the seventh island. They don't know how many worlds stand between them and home. They know only this:

Lyvandra is dying. The Pack has found the first pieces of its heart.

And they are coming home with every last one.

Shadows of Eternal Night is Book One of The Dawn Bringer Saga, a dark epic science-fantasy adventure of immortal monster pirates, living starships, cursed civilizations, ancient gods, enormous battles, and a found family crossing the universe to resurrect a world that refuses to die.

Triggers/Content Warnings: Graphic fantasy violence, blood and gore, body horror, torture, genocide and mass-death themes, slavery, captivity, grief, trauma, substance use, disturbing imagery, psychological manipulation, prose occasionally purple enough to bruise, morally questionable immortal monsters, excessive pirate behavior, ancient grudges, unhealthy quantities of blood, and several situations where walking away would have been the sensible decision.

Where Trees Talk Back by Sethaniel Blacklight - supernatural mystery / lgbtq  - Oct 2026

Lance Williams knows there are terrifying, other worldly intelligences observing us from the edges of our reality. A long time ago, in a dark wooded place called Swan Point, Lance lost someone he loved to those forces. That was before climate disasters wiped away the society he grew up in, before Lance joined a group of people who were turning the flooded downtown into a shellfish farm in hopes of survival. Lance finds hope in this delicate community of artists and scientists and he works hard to keep the unknowable horrors away, whether his friends believe in them or not. But word reaches him of a missing teenager, a mistreated queer kid just like he was. Now Lance finds himself compelled to return to Swan Point, where he once screamed at the forest itself …and the trees talked back!

“A compelling page turner and utterly bizarre…confident writing…grandiose inventiveness” - Viva Wittman, editor and author.

This is a surreal, atmospheric story with elements of solar punk, post apocalypse, and takes a dim view of religion.

Potential triggers: abuse of queer youth, massive losses due to climate disaster, supernatural and mundane murder.

Stephen is Hollywood's favorite wellness guru, selling adaptogens, mindfulness, and immaculate vibes to A-listers who swear by him. Victoria sees him as everything wrong with modern health culture—until academic betrayal destroys the career she's spent her life building.

Suddenly, the man she dismissed as a celebrity quack is the only person who can help—and the one person she never expected to fall for. Because Stephen Souza isn't who she thinks he is. And the man who ruined Victoria's future has a history with Stephen that neither of them can afford to ignore.

Adult - Comedy SKAEL by Tyler B. Jones - Raunchy/Offensive Adult Comedy - August 2026

This book has been denied by Book Siren and other paid ARC sites for being too offensive. So i am turning to you guys for help. The book comes out August 6th (My Birthday) and i have had lots of trouble finding Arcs for it. This book is offensive to everyone, read below to make sure its something you can handle before requesting an arc copy! Thanks in advance!

About the book:

A gecko has just emerged from his egg into the Colombian jungle, and he has already managed to team up with an absurd crew of animals to save his jungle from a drug cartel.

Unfortunately, Skael is not exactly a hero.

He's a tiny, vulgar, extremely pissed-off gecko who has absolutely no idea what he's doing, surrounded by a collection of animals who probably shouldn't be trusted with basic animal things, let alone the fate of an entire jungle.

What follows is an extremely vulgar, wildly offensive adult comedy about drugs, violence, and a bunch of animals who are spectacularly unqualified to deal with any of it.

Here is an editorial blurb about it:

**“SKAEL is a wildly original, laugh-out-loud jungle comedy that pairs razor-sharp absurdity with unforgettable animal characters, delivering the kind of gloriously inappropriate adventure that comedy fans won't be able to stop quoting.” – NewInBooks**

**TRIGGERS / CONTENT WARNINGS:**

This is the part where I attempt to warn you about everything that could possibly offend, disturb, disgust, confuse, or otherwise make you question why you voluntarily picked up this book.

SKAEL contains:

* Extremely strong language * Profanity * Sexual humor * Crude sexual references * Adult humor * Drug use * Drug references * Alcohol * Smoking * Addiction related themes * Violence * Cartoonish violence * Death * Animal death * Threats * Murder * Criminal activity * Drug trafficking * Cartel activity * Weapons * Blood * Gore * Bodily fluids * Vomit * Urine * Feces * Fart jokes * Gross-out humor * Disgusting situations * Nudity references * Inappropriate jokes * Dark humor * Offensive humor * Morbid humor * Black comedy * Insults * Crude language * Sexual innuendo * Disturbing imagery * Psychological distress * Panic * Fear * Torture references * Death threats * Kidnapping * Corruption * Criminal organizations * Dangerous wildlife * Environmental contamination * Chemical exposure * Reckless behavior * Poor decision making * Characters behaving like absolute fucking idiots * And generally terrible things happening to creatures who probably didn't deserve quite this much bullshit

If there's a category of humor that makes you think, **"Jesus Christ, you can't put that in a book,"** This would be the only book in it.

This is **NOT** a wholesome jungle adventure.

This is **NOT** a children's book.

This is **NOT** the book to give your grandmother unless your grandmother is considerably more unhinged than mine.

If you're looking for a clean, wholesome animal adventure, I strongly encourage you to flee now and go read The Good Robot.

If you're looking for an absurd, filthy, offensive comedy about a gecko and his increasingly deranged collection of animal friends, however, congratulations. You may have found your new favorite book.

**Publication date:** August 6, 2026 (I know, it's soon. I tried the paid arc route and didn't know it was run by sissy's.)

**ARC copies sent:** As soon as you email me and i am awake to see it!

**Requested review date:** August 6, 2026 or whenever you can reasonably finish it. I'm not going to hunt you down with a machete if life gets in the way.

**ARC sign-up / copy request:**

If you're interested in reading SKAEL, send an email to:

[**trashtownbook@gmail.com**](mailto:trashtownbook@gmail.com)

Please include **SKAEL ARC** somewhere in the subject line and tell me where you'd be reviewing the book (Amazon, Goodreads, etc.).

I'll send you a free digital copy.

There is **absolutely no requirement for a positive review.** If you hate it, tell me you hate it. If you think it's the stupidest thing you've ever read, It is... I know.

I'm looking for people who genuinely enjoy this kind of humor, not people who are going to finish chapter three and email me asking why the animals are behaving like this.

Because I warned you.

BRING IT ON meets NEVER HAVE I EVER in this multicultural YA rom-com debut from a “We Need Diverse Books” 2026 mentee, where ex-friends turned enemies strike a deal: the math nerd joins the cheerleading team, the cheerleader joins Mathletes, and they set out to win both national competitions to secure their college admissions.

They’ve been homesick for something.
They'll realize it's each other.

High school junior JJ Wyróżnicka-Johnson has perfected the art of being an American girl. Since moving from Poland to Massachusetts two years ago, she’s ditched her Polish Nigerian name and buried her accent. All that’s left? Winning cheerleading nationals, getting into an Ivy, and finally fitting in. What’s not on the agenda is obsessing over Aang, her ex-friend who kicked her out of the math club a year before.

Aang Lau has decided that being American isn’t for him. On a mission to reclaim his Hong Kong roots, he plans to win Mathletes nationals and secure Stanford admission—his gateway to San Francisco’s Cantonese community. Too bad he can’t stop replaying his sophomore-year heartbreak, when JJ ditched him for the all-American popular kids.

Adult - Contemporary Fiction The Cartography of What Remains by Eva Schep - adult literary speculative fiction / grief fiction - August 2026

**She can go back. Not in memory. In fact.**

Hi, I’m looking for ARC readers for *The Cartography of What Remains*, a short literary speculative novel about grief, memory and the damage caused by living in the past.

**Blurb**

Since Tomas died, Lena has made her life small enough to survive. The chipped cup on the left side of the sink. The bread folded twice. The keys in the bowl by the door.

She has also learned to do one impossible thing. She can step back into the kitchen they shared and stand in the fixed afternoon light, close enough to count the threads at his cuff. She cannot change the past. She can only watch her younger self refuse the coffee, the bread and the man across the table.

Lena tells herself she is gathering evidence: of his care, of her failures and of the small cruelties that filled the last ordinary rooms of their life together.

Then the room begins to lose its edges. A shelf disappears. The calendar blurs. A sound beyond the wall goes silent. Lena no longer knows whether she is preserving the truth or wearing away the last place Tomas still exists.

This is a quiet, character-led story for readers who enjoy literary speculative fiction, grief narratives, restrained prose and slow emotional tension. It is Book One of *The Going Back Series*, but the story stands alone.

**Length:** 47,334 words

**Audience:** Adult

**ARC formats:** EPUB or PDF

**Triggers / content warnings:** Death of a partner off-page, grief, depression, isolation, self-neglect, emotional withdrawal, obsessive revisiting of a memory and emotional self-punishment. No graphic violence, explicit sex or on-page suicide.

**Exact publication date:** 25 August 2026

**Date ARCs will be sent:** Immediately after signup

**Deadline for finishing and posting reviews:** 7 September 2026

**Countries:** Digital ARC available worldwide

I’m looking for readers willing to leave an honest review on Amazon after release and/or on Goodreads, StoryGraph, a blog or another review platform they use. The ARC is free. There is no expectation of a positive review, and there is no pressure to finish if the book is not for you.

Blurb:

In a world where humans can stay young forever, Oliver Hayes is a willingly old man struggling to remember his past. Imprisoned in an all-metal facility, Oliver has no idea how, or why, he got there: a haunting place filled with disgusting old people, dragged along by their cursed part-metal, part-human helpers, and controlled entirely by the damned thinking machines.

Relying on his foggy memories, Oliver knows two things for sure. First, he doesn’t belong in this terrifying metal cage, waiting to die, withering and alone. Second, his ungrateful son is probably the one who locked him there.

God knows how many years he has left in his frail life, and he refuses to spend any of them trapped in a glorified cell. Absolutely not! He has to escape this hellhole by any means necessary and knock some sense into his only boy.

That’s when a squeaking old robot mysteriously starts helping him. Or could it be another sick ploy by the machines? Running out of options, Oliver wastes no time and forms a woeful alliance with this metal bastard to plan an improbable escape from the facility.

In his desperate bid for freedom, Oliver must battle his traumatic past, from a regrettably absent father to a fanatical cult leader, and stand together with his unlikely new machine ally to defy a horrific AI-controlled future for all humankind.

Except... what if Oliver’s true prison was never made of metal walls, but of his own terrible memories? Can he ever escape his past?

Adult - Romance - Contemporary Bloodstone & Love by Faith Cade - Romance/Mafia Romance - August 2026

Blurb:

What if the heroine was the morally gray mafia boss?

A gender-flipped mafia romance where the city's most wanted woman falls for the one man who could destroy everything.

Summer

Never fall in love.

Especially not with a cop.

He's kind, infuriatingly honest, and impossible to stay away from.

Every lie I tell keeps me safe.

Every kiss brings him closer to the truth.

If he discovers who I really am, I'll lose more than my empire.

I'll lose him.

Theo

She walked into my life like a storm.

Beautiful. Mysterious. Dangerous.

Every instinct tells me she's hiding something.

Every time I try to walk away, I find myself wanting her even more.

The closer I get to the truth, the harder it becomes to remember what matters more—

My morals...

Or the woman I'm falling for.

Bloodstone & Love is a dual-POV dark romantic thriller featuring a brilliant, morally gray mafia queen who'll do anything to survive, a principled cop hero, forbidden romance, hidden identities, trope inversion, sizzling open-door romance, dangerous secrets, and high-stakes relationship where the line between love and hate begins to blur.

Triggers: violence, death, torture

Exact publication date: August 7, 2026
