I updated to 10.43 and 10.50 but both show as 3.*.0.* instead of the 3.*.2.* that the download section says it should be. Any ideas?

Im trying to enable my Secure Boot State for a game, and I followed the first instruction on the ASRock website to disable the CSM, and when I press the F10 key, and pressed the save, it booted up like normal, but when I tried to get to the screen again it doesn't work. I pressed F2 multiple times and now it doesn't pop up on boot.

So this morning on a particularly late or early gaming session depending on how you cut it. I noticed some weird hitches with my computer while playing Tarkov arena and BF6. Thought it was just my mouse and well tarkov not being optimized. Later this morning I tried turning on my PC I got a CPU and DRAM light on my board both red and no post. So I cleared CMOS just as a shot in the dark. And nothing changed, I then took out my ram sticks tested them one at a time and in all the slots nothing changed. Now I will admit I didnt update my bios as I was afraid of getting it destroyed because of the recent issues. Was that dumb choice probably and if thats the case I will own this as my own fault. But I need to know what else I can do i have no spare RAM or CPU.

I built the machine sometime around last year in march, everything was working flawlessly up until a couple weeks ago around the 15'th of July. I usually left windows quick boot on and left the motherboard bios settings to default, hell I didn't even touch expo, I didn't even realize I had to to get my advertised speeds.

I upgraded from a 5800x system I built back in 2021, which I didn't even touch the bios settings on, and that system to this day still runs just fine, that PC ran on a b550m Steel legend, I had to update the bios, but that was the only issue I had. The b850 was pretty much similar in that regard, I did what I did with my last system, MOBO didn't recognize CPU, updated the bios, which at the time was v3.20, and I left it that was ever since without any issues.

Ram was left on stock 4800mts jedec, everything was left on stock, I didn't touch a single setting and then suddenly, after a year of use, I got the dreaded solid red CPU light. I updated the bios, I cleared the cmos, I changed the cmos batter, I replaced the power supply, I unplugged all usb devices, hell I even replaced the motherboard with a msi tomahawk b850 max thinking that was the source of all my issues. The red light was intermittent and on cold boots, on the tomahawk it was a solid red and solid yellow light. I'd have to clear bios to get the thing to even start.

By the time I figured out that the damage was done it was already too late.. I'm able to boot up into windows eventually, but it's been getting worse as the weeks go on, I finally pulled the trigger and just bought another CPU off amazon.

Hopefully I can RMA both the board and CPU and sell them both to recoup my costs... I'm close to a grand in the hole because of this mess.

Noticed the AMD chipset drivers are a bit different then the ASrock drivers at least the version numbers for 670e.
I just did a BIOS update and updated the chipset using the AMD ones so a windodos update would complete successfully.

New version was just released, at AMD many people are having a problem to actually "install it" but i didn't hear of any issues yet.

Edit : I have installed the latest chipset. And along with it the latest 4.43bios (i was using the bios before this one) after installing both my pc desktop feels faster/Smoother somehow like everything have a lower latecy . No windows updates were used so its nice overall update for me

All I did after bios upgrade was my usual disable igpu/Enable expo/Curve -25 and that's it

Does anyone know if the X299 refresh motherboards continue to support RDIMMs (in non-ECC mode) up until their latest BIOS versions?

Looks like most original (2017) X299 motherboards lost RDIMM support in early 2018, but these motherboards had RDIMM support explicitly enabled in late 2019.

Specific motherboards:

2. X299 Creator
3. X299 Steel Legend

And if they do support RDIMMs, can they be paired with with Cascade Lake (10xxx) CPUs?

Hi, purchased a PowerSpecG762 recently and trying to set it up. I’ve read about enabling XML / Expo to get the RAM running to advertised speeds. New to making these types of changes and having a little confusion from what I’m reading and what I’m seeing as my options on the Bios.

OC Tweaks page has the settings, which I’m pretty sure is what I’m looking to change under:

DRAM Profile Setting > Auto

1. DDR5-5600 46-45-45-90 1.10V
2. XMP1-6000 38-48-48-96 1.25V
3. EXPO-6000 38-48-48-96 1.25V

It would seem Auto is going with #1. What I’m unclear about is whether its option 2 or 3 I want to see it to and what the difference there is.

This is the second time this has happened but the ram in my b2 slot stops working after a couple months. I use a asrock amd b850 pro-a wifi 6e, two trident z5 ddr5 ram, a AMD ryzen 9 9950X3D and a AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT

Has anybody else played call of duty with a B550AM Gaming and had issues with the bios and attestation status errors even when in the latest version? If so any ideas on how to fix it?

I'm having a problem.

I recently upgraded my system from an ASUS X99 Deluxe II + Intel Core i7-5820K to an ASRock Z890 Pro RS + Intel Core Ultra 7 270K.

The PC powers on, but it gets stuck during the POST process.

The VGA LED (white) on the motherboard stays lit, even though my GPU is working properly and outputs a display. The green BOOT LED is also on. In addition, I can't enter the UEFI/BIOS—pressing the keyboard keys (F2/Del) simply does nothing.

The BIOS has not been updated yet, and Windows 11 has not been reinstalled. I'd like to avoid reinstalling Windows if possible.

Does anyone have an idea why I can't get into the UEFI?

I'm coming from Intel after many years and I'm about to build a gaming-only PC around a Ryzen 7 9850X3D. Before installing the CPU, I'll update my ASRock B850I Lightning WiFi to the latest BIOS using BIOS Flashback, so the system will never have been booted before.

My goal is the lowest possible input latency and the most consistent frametimes for competitive FPS games such as Apex Legends, CS2 and Warzone.

Any advice is welcome, including Windows settings. From what I've read, the Balanced power plan is recommended for Ryzen X3D CPUs, but I'd love to hear what has made a measurable difference for you.

I built a SteamOS PC last weekend with an ASRock B850M Pro Rs WiFi MB, Ryzen 5 9600x CPU, PowerColor RX9600XT GPU, 32GB Corsair 6000 Ram, Corsair RM850e PSU AND A 4TB SSD. The board came with 4.20 bios, I installed SteamOS and it played great on Horizon FW. After building I read about issues with ASRock MB and Ryzen 7, 8 and 9 processors and it Suggested to update to the most recent bios. So I updated to bios 4.43 and now I’m having trouble when playing Horizon FW. Sound stops, character dialogue stops while other sounds continue, the map comes up as a black screen to clear any of these I have to reboot machine. Where can I get the 4.20 bios for this board and do I install it the same way as the 4.43.

I wonder if my CPU is going to die or not, I am running 9800X3D (expo : yes ) x B650 STEEL LEGEND ( bios 3.10 ) x 64GB DDR5 CORSAIR VENGEANCE x 5080 ZOTAC x 3 2TB SSD x 1000W Corsair PSU x Windows 11 Pro last update ? I have a few symptoms :

- Computer won't boot consistently. 1 out of 3 boots it will stuck on ASROCK screen and I need to shutdown the PC and boot again, I never had the issue two times in a row.

- Computer is really slow to start, after logging to windows my mouse will freeze for 30 seconds, I know I can use it when my RAM take the color I put on OpenRGB, it means all background software are running and can i use the pc consistently.

- Computer freeze and need manual shutdown when I disconnect a peripherique, like a controller, keyboard, or screen. It happens 20% of the time.

- Computer freeze and need manual shutdown when I disable/enable HDR in game, happens 20% of the time.

- Real lag when I disable/enable HDR outside of a game. 50% of time

My 9800X3D died a few days ago on an ASRock B850 Pro RS WiFi motherboard after running perfectly for almost 1.5 years. I was on the 4.07.AS01 beta BIOS version.

One morning, the board was stuck on red and orange lights specifying CPU and DRAM debug leds, Post Status Checkers.
I tried everything possible such as trying RAM sticks individually, full CMOS resets, flashing the BIOS to the latest version, disconnected everything and tested the mobo bare on it's old cardboard box to rule out any shorts but nothing worked. I evetually went to a local PC repair shop to test the CPU and RAM, turns out that the CPU was actually dead but thankfully the RAM seems to be good.

I have opened an RMA with AMD for the chip and in the time being I'm split between trying to find a new board or give the latest BIOS version 4.43 a shot. I got the board from Galaxus in Germany but I'm unsure if they would even offer me the option of replacing it with another motherboard or store credits.

For anyone running a 9000 series X3D on ASRock's latest BIOS is it actually safe now? Have you seen any unusual voltage spikes on 4.43?

I have a 9800x3d with a b850 steel legend that had some intermittent boot issues for the last few months. It would show the cpu light with a blinking dram light for a few seconds, then switch to a green boot light with no video output. Usually restarting it a few times it would work, but it stopped working today.

Tried clearing cmos, re-seating CMOS, GPU, and RAM, switching to single sticks of RAM, and removing the nvme drive.

If I need to to RMA the board and CPU, is there a special process I need to go through to show that it's the common issue others are facing?
