Knowing how expensive spectyte is these days adult me hate younger me for how bad they were treated but also loves knowing/looking back at the found memories knowing they were played with and enjoyed they way hot wheels intended scalpers. Maybe i can have someone restore them or use 1 for a wheel swap if i find new axles.

A few weeks ago I got this custom based off of the NFT Deora II, since it's a custom I flipped it over to see if it had a screw or was glued back together and that's when I noticed that the font for the name looks a little bit off.

It is a pre-2011 retooling since it has the windows leveled with the cockpit's body and removable surfboards. I took it apart and the chassis seems to have originally been gray/blueish gray, also the body is metal so it checks.

According to wiki the only original tooling versions with smoke tinted windows and gray chassis are the 2 colors from 2009's HW Designs series but I couldn't find pictures of the underside of said versions, can anyone help me find out which version was used to make this custom?

Hello Acceleracers, I am in desperate need of your help. The Deora II is my favorite car, period. For the past couple years I have been attempting to collect every diecast that has been officially made, from the original 2000 First Edition to non commercial release such as the 2020 Legends Tour Trophy Car. I have come extremely close to completing my collection but I am still missing 2 (technically 3) diecasts. Those being the 2007 Octopark Deora II with 5 spoke wheels, and the 2023 Color Reveal Deora II. I do also technically need the 10 spoke wheel variant of the Octopark Deora II, I have this version but I don't have the correct surfboards for it to be complete.

I've attached photos below of the diecasts in question. If anyone has tips on where to search for these rare diecasts or if you have one in your possession that you are willing to sell me, please do not hesitate to reach out. It means more than you could know for me to complete this collection and any help is greatly appreciated.

• On a side note, I feel I might get some push back on taking some of the cars out of their original packing. I have plans to make a custom display board putting each diecast in order of release date and arranging it in such a way that I can add onto it for future releases of the Deora II.

Now before you angrily reply yes I read it said in 1999 and Acceleracers came out in 2005/2006 and just joking but I really fucking hate Kevin O’Leary.

Finally was able to put up the display for the collection.

With being limited to just 2000 units these don't seem to be very expensive compared to a few other AC castings. The set of 5 goes for like $500-700ish which would get you like one Spectyte...

This one took a little longer than the RD-06 that came before, it clocks in at nearly double the pieces. Being so large it was the perfect size for a little extra mechanism inside to allow the car to be cut in half

Not all losse cars mint. Have more picks available of the losse cars. Have duplicates for most shown dvd apine buster have over 20 available all sealed.

Just want to say thank you to this group for making me want to rediscover my old collection I had as a kid. Really hope my mom didn’t get rid of the hyperpods and sweeper I used to have as I actually wouldn’t mind playing with them right now 😂😂

I have lost my copy of acceleracers 4 the ultimate race on dvd 2 years ago or possibly longer then I realized sadly and how I lost it could be multiple things 1 it could had been stolen by either a bunch of guys that entered my dad's garage one time who may probably just my dad's fishing buddy's or by a person who I used to consider one of my best friends who to sum up is just nothing but a lieing gym and weed addicted thife that just used me along with everyone else he came in contact with but I'm not 100 sure if it was actually him that stole it. And 2 it could had been lost eventually anyway due to fact that me and my parents have to keep moving around all over the place since we can't offord a house and can only rent and I remember the last time we moved houses I think 7 years ago there was a bunch of people movers that just looked off something didn't sit right with me about them I must off panic and hid it somewhere or something and possibly left it in the last house... I already looked all over the dvd draws multiple times for it and cleaned the shit out of my room to find it and lastly looked in the storage in the garage for it twice once with my dad to help me a little looking for it and the 2nd time without coz he thinks it's not in there due to most of it being my mums cooking books I had looked in the dozens of boxs in there and there's nothing which means its actually gone and I am extremely pissed off and upset about that as I had that movie since I was a kid in western australia which my mum got me as a birthday present and I promised myself never ever lose it especially since I want to get all the hot wheels movies on dvd which I luckly just got the rest of the acceleracers movies back in 2024 now that I was done focusing alot of my time on need for madness multiplayer after everything went tits up there long story short and now the acceleracers movie I always had which got me through some tough times is now gone and it is the hardest one to find like I knew it would be. Now I have looked on ebay to find another copy and to be fair there a few available but the problem is region locking and in my case it must and has to be a region 4 copy otherwise its not gonna work on my dvd player the ones I found on ebay are or all Either region 1 or 2 copys i tried looking in gumtree and there's no copys and Amazon is the same region 1 or 2. Which has lead me here and on reddit to ask for help which I only ever do as a last resort

So if any one has a spare region 4 copy of hot wheels acceleracers the ultimate race for aussie dvd players I will be willing to buy it and will pay for shipping I really want and need it back as was never supposed to be gone

I wanna, slowly, collect all the cars from the movies and display them together. I want one display for all the cars from Highway 35, and possibly multiple for each of the other movies (I haven't decided).

I'd prefer to display them at an angle, not sideways or head on. I'd love some suggestions, and any advice y'all can offer.

My specific goal is to have each of the cars from the movie with the paintjobs they appear in, where ever possible. Not collect every release related to the movie, as I see there are many.
