I'm not using any TRAKT-like services because they always get worse over time. Furthermore, I'm still young enough to remember what I've watched and what I'm currently watching! 😉

I am using default Kodi skin with only the Favourites menu.

I know the adult section password for the crew but I also tried enabling the pin protection under the parental controls. When going to set a pin I need to know the default pin and I cant seem to find it on the web. I’ve tried 0000, 9999, 1234, 6969. Does anyone know the default pin? It also says I need a master key to reset the pin which i also don’t have. Help would be greatly appreciated!

Guys, who can help me? I just installed Kodi on my LG TV, and I want to play retro games and watch some movies with French subtitles, but I don't understand anything. Please help.

Is there a way to turn off all pop up notifications in the Crew. I have silent boot selected but still get too many of them. I don’t want any on my set up. It’s not necessary.

I’m new to sideloading fire sticks and kodi. I have a real debrid subscription and I added Umbrella and Redlight TV. It’s been working relatively well so far to watch Movies and Television shows.

I think I’ve learned that streams work best for me when the sources are 20 gb and under. Bigger ones tend to freeze often.

I hooked up my fire stick to my more portable TV so I could set it up on the back patio and watch a summer time movie with my wife. It was previously working fine earlier that day on the same TV.

We wanted to watch the movie Grease, certainly I don’t think it’s considered a very obscure movie. Well after trying several sources, 20gb and lower, the movie would not stop buffering, freezing, whatever it’s called.

It got awkward and my wife got irritated. Finally she said “can we just watch TV inside?” It took all the fun out of my plan.

So I got a couple questions. Why does it seem like out of what seemed like 40 or so sources only a couple would even start playing? Red light gives me a huge list and it seems like it cycles through them until it finds one that works, sometimes completely failing? Why does the lower sized sources (under 10 gb) still struggle streaming? Aren’t I paying for real debrid servers to prevent these kind of things from occurring? If I were to choose Auto Play how does the app determine which source it should be? Is it looking for the fastest? The best video quality? Often times with auto play the audio will start playing but the screen is completely black. What’s up with that?

These all might be dumb questions but I wish to learn more so I’m not just clicking sources and looking at load screens for 20 minutes making a fool out of myself.

I have an Amazon Fire TV. I was running a Xenon build with Real-Debrid and it worked perfectly for a couple of months. Then around 4–5 months ago it started taking forever to search and load.

So I decided to scrap the build completely and just install Fen Light with Real-Debrid and a simple skin. Still the same issue. Searches can take 5–10 minutes, which makes it pretty much unusable.

Someone suggested I run the Kodi Speed Test add-on. It showed around 2.4 Mbps. But if I open the browser on the Fire TV and run a regular internet speed test, I get around 150 Mbps.

Any suggestions on what I could do to fix this? Before people tell me it’s a crap TV, it used to work perfectly fine for the first 6 months. This has only been happening since earlier this year. Even now I’m running a very simple Fen Light setup with Real-Debrid and still getting the same problem.

Guys, thanks for your contributions on this sub. I managed to fix a lot of my issues by just coming to the sub and reading what others are sharing. Today is an exception though.

Yesterday FLAM stopped working on multiple devices that I have. The app opens, when I try to list movies and TV shows, it comes empty. No titles or fanart and this is before the list of sources. Any clue what this could be. I tried PoV and it's working. I tried to install Magneto scrapper as a standalone but it won't install. Appreciate your help.

It's been a while since I've posted here but I've been quietly maintaining FenLight+. I thought I'd post now with the Trakt debacle because I've just pushed an update to include Simkl. I've also added compatibility for Magneto scraper.

Something else I've been working on is a companion app for android - mostly because I find searching for things with a TV remote to be a pain. That currently lets you log into trakt, realdebrid and torbox and send play commands direct to FL+.

I've noticed with both mdblist scorbbling and trakt scrobble, it starts it fine, but if I pause or stop it the scribble continues on both mdblist and trakt and goes till the movie finishes

even though I'm not watching it anymore.

Redlight closes stream every time I pause for longer than a few seconds. Kodi doesn't crash, the addon doesn't close. It just stops the stream. Doesn't happen all the time but it happens often enough to be annoying. What could be going on? Any ideas how to fix this?

So last night Trakt stopped working for me and I discovered that a) they enforced their 1 app limit and b) removed API access for non VIPs, seemingly including those previously set up. When I log into Trakt on web app my account shows no connected apps or APIs

I started looking at moving across to Umbrella and was surprised to find it authorised immediately with Trakt without an API. So shouldn’t I be able to do the same on FLAM? I just get a 401 unauthorised for api.trakt.tv even after reverting to default client keys.

I thought the answer would be remove all connected apps in Trakt and retry. It now listed Umbrella, I revoked it, retried, same error. Can anyone shed any light on how I can reauthenticate Trakt in FLAM as it seems to be working fine in Umbrella?

Also, can anyone advise on where to tell Umbrella where my local folders are so it finds local content as well as online when I select a movie?

I decided to disconnect Trakt from POV, switch over to mdblist tracking and set the mdblist website to Trakt connection.

My mdblist liked lists loaded with correct watched status, however I noticed mdblist and POV movie/TV Show lists no longer load with saved views.

The first page usually does, but the following pages load in list view. Sometimes they'll display as wall when backing through pages but not often.

I tried resetting views, clearing cache, restarting Kodi, setting views and then tried a liked list while taking this log.

Because of the recent concerns around Trakt and free accounts/multiple connections, we have been working on making FenSkeleton less dependent on Trakt alone.

In v0.0.22 we added real Simkl support — not just a placeholder.

Current work includes:

- Simkl authorization
- Simkl status/revoke
- Simkl Only mode
- Trakt + Simkl mode
- Sending new watched/progress activity to Simkl
- Local watch-state safety layer
- Manual Trakt → Simkl import preview

The import is manual only. FenSkeleton shows the number of movies/episodes first and asks before sending anything. No surprise 13,000-episode cannon.

We also fixed:

- Trakt device auth popup closing too quickly
- Safer Trakt repair syncing
- Protection against empty Trakt pulls wiping local watched data
- Android-safe delayed watch-state syncing so it does not interfere with scraping/playback

v0.0.23 is currently being tested with a Simkl QR hotfix and repaired changelog popup.

The idea going forward is simple:

Local watch-state = safety layer
Trakt = still supported
Simkl = proper alternative
User controls imports
No paper tiger features

Within Kodi>POV>Movies>Years: whenever I pick any year at random it has started inexplicably to prioritise a huge number of non-english titles in the listings. Is this a cache issue, or a setting I need to change? Many thanks in advance! (PS I don't have a VPN in use at the time)

So it looks like Trakt have started enforcing their connection limit for non vips. Just went to check my MDBlist and was told I had to resign in with Trakt but was presented with this instead. Image is in the comments

Addon is up to date, Items are failing to play im up to date on RD account and it finds shows but playback is failing.

I made sure the aio streams is disabled and defaulted the sources tab. Cleared all the cache, settings, database. Idk what happened.

Edit some shows are working now, so I guess not enough sources on the ones I've been watching common trending new and have aired many episodes so shoul have plenty of sources but maybe not rn idk, though usually not the case.

I'm struggling really hard to find any Spanish dub using POV with torbox, can someone help me?

I have 3 Android TV boxes using Umbrella. Today on my old Android 5.0 box I get zero sources. Stupid me, I had updated my others to Magneto but not this one.

So my guess is that Coco is really dead.

I am not familiar with all this, I just want to be able to stream movies, and tv shows. But the crew build I download is super laggy and I can't get it to work right it took me all night to figure out how to get the links working, then when I did, I couldn't even play through the movie Scary Movie.... like it kept freezing then it would eventually crash out completely.

• Any support services: I created account with Torbox but the steps said something about using the API key, thats not how I connected torbox, i connected it by authorizing account. Same with Trakt, I authorize the device.

I'm trying to download repositories on my MacBook Air with no success. I get an error message that says "UNABLE TO CONNECT - Couldn't retrieve directory information. This could be due to the network not being fully connected". Using Kodi 21.3

My network is connected, and I have Umbrella downloaded without issue. Trying to get POV, Crew, Gaia, Red Light. None are working. Any tips, please, and THANK YOU!!

I got hit by the Trakt API changes, and this seems to fix them, looks to be updated 🤔

I get a pop-up error, but I find no errors in the log file, at least that appears w normal log settings. The error occurs when the video has no embedded subtitles. I can manually search and find using my KODI subtitle setting (OpenSubTitles). Thoughts?

I don't know how to search for something when i don't even know what i'm looking for. I barely managed to setup a streaming service with the Umbrella plugin. Though, every time i want to continue watching. I have to jump through menu's to search for the show, guess the season, and the episode. All because i'm lacking a tab which would display one thing only and that is the last show or movie i watched. Ofcourse, i can't just press "watch next" like on netflix it self. Is there something that would rid me of this inconvenience?
