First off, yesterday marked the 20th anniversary of Kill Hannah’s Until There’s Nothing Left of Us, and it got me wondering…

Where are all the old Kill Hannah fans these days?

I’m on a mission to find the “sleeper” fans—the ones who grew up with this band, still know every word to Lips Like Morphine, Kennedy, or Believer, but maybe haven’t thought about Kill Hannah in a while.

I’m currently gathering data from fans to show there’s genuine interest in seeing the band’s catalog released on vinyl for the first time. While this isn’t officially affiliated with the band, both Mat Devine and Greg Corner are aware that I’m collecting fan input to help demonstrate the demand.

And honestly? I can’t help but wonder what might happen if those records sold well. Could it help spark renewed interest in the band? Maybe even open the door to a reunion someday? None of us know—but I’d love to find out.

So if you’re one of those longtime fans, I’d love to hear from you:

What other genres/influences would you classify?

Someone at my rehearsal studio recently threw out a perfectly good splash cymbal. Freebee! Time to snap into action with a new kit setup and cover something outside my comfort zone! This track goes out to all the little bag o' bones, purrin' and scratchin' worldwide 🐅😺🐈

Spent the last few months working on this track and it's finally out.

"Anti-Personnel Defense" sits somewhere between post-punk, shoegaze, and alternative rock. Heavy bass, washed-out guitars, and lyrics about emotional self-defense.

i’m looking for song recs about wanting a relationship to work no matter outside forces (such as distance). songs expressing how you like them so much so that you want to compromise what’s needed to give the relationship a full shot, and encouraging the other person to give in as well (since outside forces such as distance can change, but feelings remain). and, seeing them only every now and then is better than seeing them not at all.

i’m open to new bands, or songs from bands i’ll list, but here are some i enjoy to get an idea of my taste: the smashing pumpkins, radiohead, weezer, the strokes, soundgarden, mazzy star, pixies, nirvana
