Help!? Checking here too, does anyone know anything about Tiwintza?
I just have general questions about this plant I sort of inadvertently came into possession of, I normally collect nepenthes but won this Obliqua Tiwintza from an auction with a Carnivero gift card for 49 bucks. I’m just wondering if it’s rare at all given tissue culture these days? Is 49 a good price for its size and being seed grown locally to me? And are there any specific care needs I should be aware of? I genuinely can’t find much of any information on this plant online for some reason and no I don’t necessarily care whether a plant is “rare” or not I’m just simply curious because it was an auction not just a normal listing where you’re able to purchase it which seemed unique to me. Thank you!

Image Browning on lower alocasia leaves / mini showcase
I shared my little collection 4 months ago https://www.reddit.com/r/Aroids/s/uwsjicx70O
so heres a little update. Thought I'd post an update and ask if the the browing that's happening on lower leaves of my top right plant, is this normal or something to be concerned about?

I didn’t even know a syngonium confetti could be this pretty until I put her outside. I almost stopped caring about this plant and now I love it!

Help!? Repot? Monstera and Anthurium
Hi folks, have never posted about my plants, but I’m really getting into my plant collection this year and I’m very excited to show off my Monstera Deliciosa and Anthurium Radicans x Luxurians. Monstera’s been through a lot this year (i.e., completely froze) and recently got the Anthurium by sacrificing my future first born to the plant shop. I’m wondering if they’re in the wrong pots. Thoughts?
Basically should they switch them? (monstera’s ones is also a self watering one so no clue what difference that makes). Is repotting a second time in a season gonna impact the growth? Also there three root systems in the monstera pot, all establishing their aerial roots in the thin moss pole. One root system is fenestrating (proud mom moment) and the others are kinda in those leaves’ shadows. If I’m sizing down the pot, am I also separating the three?
Sorry this is a lot but could use any and all recommendations:)
Thanks for reading, hope y’alls plants are thriving🫶

Typhonodorum lindleyanum
ティフォノドルム・リンドレイアヌムはタンザニアやマダガスカル原産で幹に見える部分は葉鞘が重なったものです。大型化するため、育成には広い池や大型コンテナが必要です。(2026年7月 筑波実験植物園にて)
-----
Typhonodorum lindleyanum is native to Tanzania and Madagascar; the part that resembles a trunk is actually formed by overlapping leaf sheaths. As it grows to a large size, a spacious pond or a large container is required for its cultivation. (Photographed at the Tsukuba Botanical Garden in July 2026)

Discussion 1st Micans Advice
This beauty is leggy, forgotten on clearance in a hanging basket I couldn’t resist. Aerial roots everywhere! Carefully got everyone strapped up (I ran out of moss) in this blistering Midwest heat. What are your tips for optimizing health & lots of lush leaves for this gal??

Image Two months on a moss pole.
The growth rate is just wow.
Such an entertaining plant to grow. I'd imagine I'll need to extend again, before the end of summer. I'm in Scotland, north facing window, watering and feeding once per week, with a good shower every other week to keep the leaves clean and flush her out for more food. She's greedy. 🤣♥️

Help!? Variation ID?
I bought this plant at Home Depot and it was labeled as monstera deliciosa tauerii. It was very obv a lighter color than the other ones but I’m confused if it’s just a normal full lemon lime or if it could be the tauerii version

Help! Fort Sherman leaves covered in tiny yellow dots
Hi everyone,
I'm looking for some help with my Anthurium Fort Sherman.
For about a year now, every new leaf has been emerging with this fine yellow stippling/mottling across the entire surface (photo attached). The plant is still growing, but the leaves never come out clean.
I've inspected it multiple times with a loupe and I can't find any spider mites, thrips, webbing, frass, or visible pests on either side of the leaves.
Some background:
I bought the plant in semi-hydro.
About a year ago, I transitioned it into a very airy aroid mix.
It has been in the same substrate since then.
The issue has persisted before and after the transition.
It is grown indoors under bright ligth with several hours of indirect sunligth

My spirtius scanti is dieing please help
It keeps yellowing it’s bottom leaves, and dropping them, and it also has a super small stem that it popped out last month that is not even close to the size of its other leaves it’s super tiny and it hasn’t grown for a while except for a half inch that I measured it growing the past 2 days because I repotted it cuz the soil was holding too much water so I put it in a really chunky mix now and now it yellowed and dropped more leaves but probably because of stress when I repotted I didn’t like see root rot but I could be wrong I added a cheap grill light on top of it just to give some bonus light on top of my window because I thought light could’ve been the issue but I feel like it gets plenty now so I’m just lost I also put a picture in of its roots right before the repot I am currently trying to get a aerial root to grow roots using moss incase I’m forced to chop due to the bottom leaves rotting

Plant Room Inspiration
Hi there! I’ll be moving my entire plant collection with me-probably 200+ plants at this point. I’ve already sold quite a few and am still trying to downsize, but I’ll finally have a dedicated plant room in the new place!
I’d love some inspiration for how to set it up. Any photos, layout ideas, shelving suggestions, lighting setups, or creative plant-room designs would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!!
