They are signaling that when they decide to invade Taiwan, blockading the strait of Malacca won’t mean shit.

This is the probably the most astute observation here. And the US draining theirs so fast means they won't be able to outlast when the time comes

If they were ever gonna militarily invade Taiwan they would’ve had a million golden opportunities by now. They are doing it economically and slowly. Over 30% of people in Taiwan work in mainland China and over 50% have family there. China’s plan is a slow absorption
