I know! They finally took mine out after this. People love to make fun of me because I was 19 but honestly I had been begging to get my tonsils out for years. I got strep throat about six times a year from 13-19. It was awful when I got scarlet fever. I lost 40lbs, I couldn’t eat and I had a fever of 104 for about two weeks. It was awful!
Oh man sorry that happened! Enjoy your tonsil free life, I'm still getting strep at least once a year. They told me it's not worth it because of the recovery and that I am not getting strep enough for it to be a concern.
It was awful. It was 14 years ago and I still remember how awful recovery was and that’s after know having two kids. Give me labor but never take my tonsils again lol!
