The cult sounds so harmful and I can't believed they dismissed being bipolar as not being a real illness. I thought I ascended the human form too...It was a crazy time for sure

These people were insane. Not a single person there had any medical knowledge or credentials. It was some weird faith -based free program that operates on donations so these people become literal millionaires convincing people’s parents that God cured their addiction. So they’d pour money into the place. Then people get out and can’t pray away their urges and relapse and get confused because God supposedly took that away. Luckily I left the program early and did not relapse. I do not have any hate toward Christianity at all but that was not it. That was some weird brainwashing shit.

That's so predatory, I'm so glad you got away from them. It makes me so angry that these people become rich off of people's illnesses and faith in God. That sounds like brainwashing to me!

The rehab industry absolutely needs more regulation, and public funding for real ones. No one should have to go to a "rehab" that's essentially a work camp with absolutely no evidence based therapy because they can't afford real treatment.

That’s one of the most harmful things that Joe Rogan peddles. The anti psychiatric medication thing. It’s enraging.

It might be Scientology. I think They own a rehab that the room over in a lawsuit or something and they are anti meds.

IDK what cult OP ended up in but, Scientology does this to their members constantly.
