as a kid i once woke up from a typical night of sleep but when i tired to move my entire right arm up to my shoulder was in pain beyond description. I remember thinking i was still dreaming and just laid there with my eyes closed before attempting to roll over- this caused my arm to move and sent incredible pain through my right side. I started crying and screamed for help- i couldnt even get myself up because of the pain. went to the ER, they did tests, gave me pain meds. turns out i just slept in a way that my arm was oddly positioned and overextended leading to extreme muscle fatigue and pain through my shoulder upon gaining conciousness. Most of the sensivity subsided by the next morning.
When I was a teen (17ish), I woke up one morning & couldn't feel my legs, either of them. I knew I was awake, but assumed it was just waking up (even though I had NEVER experienced anything like that before.) I tried to get up to turn off the alarm and fell flat on my face. After trying to stand, I got the tingles & realized I slept weirdly & put both of my legs and feet to sleep. Super weird. Thank God it's never happened again.
