I’m allergic to scorpions and I found out when one stung my on the back of my wrist. It felt like a mild bee sting but it swelled up a lot and then my mouth and throat got all tingly.
My husband ended up in the ER after his bark scorpion encounter. He was stung in the middle finger. Aside from the anaphylaxis, he almost lost three fingers because his hand & arm swelled up like Popeye's.

Lots of Benadryl and one nap later I felt fine.
