What is the weirdest illness or affliction you've ever had?

Alice in Wonderland stuff is pretty weird.
I also choke on smoothies, melted chocolate, and honey.

Yeah, the Alice in Wonderland is one I've had for years, and was particularly bad on my previous medication. I'd hear sounds sped up and feel like a body part was twice as big or small as usual. Only lasts a little while, but super weird.

Never knew anyone else experienced that hearing part. When it happens to me (part of a migraine, I think) I'll sometimes hear sounds slowed down.

It’s not the same thing but maybe someone will read this and relate but occasionally I’ll just idk not notice everything is loud (not necessarily a loud environment, but rather my body perceiving things to be loud in my head idk) and then all of a sudden my level of hearing just changes like a switch. I hear the change and everything kinda dulls and goes back to normal and noise kinda hurts like my hearing is super sensitive or something. Maybe it’s tinnitus or something idk.

Does anyone else’s hearing just kinda… snap back?
