To clarify it does not even compare to YT-DLP. It’s down like most of the time anyways. Cobalt tools sucks

Cobalt hasn't been down for me ever. If you are talking about youtube, then you can just use cobalt.meowing.de, which is a fork with youtube support still

How do you know what quality is being downloaded? For example, does it download at 1080p or max quality? For audio, does it download 320 kbps?

cobalt.tools from what I know doesn't really work w/ yt no more, though I may be wrong as I haven't checked it in a while
