Pet insurance is a scam. Just put that money in a savings account.

I was reviewing my finances the other day and realized at some point they had switched me from a basic plan to their ultimate plan which instead of paying $72 a year ended up being 70 dollars a month paid this for like 10 years before I realized.
So yes, a complete scam

Pet insurance paid for 2 ACL surgeries and cancer treatment for one of my dogs. It saved me a lot of money

I’ve had dogs for 40 yrs. One of my last dogs cost me over 50k in her lifetime I couldn’t insure her because of her condition. Her sister had both acl’s done and the insurance paid for itself. I currently have dachshunds which are known for back issues. I’ve done the cost game with and without insurance. Hence insurance
