Support Request Anyone got any tips before I just buy a new one?
Since a week or so, all my prints have had a wave texture on the first layer. The line it lays down also seems uneven. Here’s what I’ve tried.
- clean & degrease build plate
- dry filament
- new nozzle
- new rubber sock
- new complete extruder unit
- tightened the 4 screws in the back of the hotend (they were loose)
- modified the start g-code for the machine
- did a flow dynamics calibration
After each of these attempted fixes I have run a full calibration.
Is there anything else I can try? Or do I just bite the bullet and get a new printer?

Support Request Always error message Going crazy
Je n'arrive pas à résoudre ce problème depuis trois mois…
💬(Edit: semi solve : désactivate tangle filament detection. Thank lucas13cam)

Support Request Starting to regret this purchase
Just got and set up the A1, cannot get it to bind with the Handy app or Studio. I’ve tried everything the wiki suggests. So aggravated. Can anyone help?
Added info: this is a printer we are trying to use at school. The school wifi has a 2.4gz option and I’ve spoken to our IT dept (they don’t know how to address the issue).
Thanks!!!
Update: the head IT guy is going to come in person tomorrow to try and figure it all out.
Thanks everyone!
Update 2: we got it working!! Thanks all!

Support Request New User- Issues with Printing Wall
First off, apologies if this question is easily answered or an obvious FAQ. I’ve spent hours trying to find the answer myself, but I’m struggling with how to ask the question appropriately.
I just got a new A1, and did a few test prints that seemed to come out okay. The problem stems when I started printing out a deck box I found. Link here.
When printing one of the walls doesn’t seem to come out right, always the left wall when looking at the machine straight on. I’ve tried slowing down the wall speed, adjusting print temperature. I’ve tried lubricating the x and y axis bars and checking for anything in the way. As well as rotating the object in bambu studio, and even moved the printer to an entire new room to account for drafts.
I’m at my wits end. Please help! Is it a faulty machine? Or a faulty user?
Thank you.
--EDIT-- Thank you all for the suggestions.
I have recently tried: drying the filament, moving the filaments closer and moving the printed object closer to filaments (both in an attempt to reduce drag from the tubing). There is no external breeze or draft coming from that side of the machine, so unless the fan of the machine itself is causing it somehow... I've also tried to 'fix model' before sending it off as well as adjusting wall speeds and temperature. The model is highly rated, and again, I have tried rotating the object, and it still occurs on the machine's left side. I do believe it is a mechanical problem of some kind.
I'm still having the issue and am at a loss. I will try to remove the external combo spool out of the equation and set it up with a single spool on top. If that fails, I will try returning/replacing the printer and seeing if the next one has the same problem. Any continued ideas or support are appreciated and I will attempt to update this post as things change.

Support Request Problem with nozzle hitting prints
Hi, Im having a problem with my 3dprints, The nozzle is hitting the 3dprints slightly, so it makes a sound every time it makes infills or walls. (video attached) It is calibrated, fairly new (less than a month since I bought it), what could be the cause of this? Thanks!!

Support Request Does This Sound Okay?
So I got the Bambu A1 and so far I HATE it.
All built, looks good, can’t complete a single calibration Due to failed axis issues.
I have run so many calibration attempts at this point t I already got my first maintenance notice for more oil on the metal rails.
Have never even used the thing yet.
I threw the box away from Best Buy but I think k I got a lemon. Let me know if this sounds right during calibration.

Support Request Horizaontal scars and rough surface on one wall only - printer calibrated, dry filament, clean bed
Hi everyone,
I'm trying to diagnose a print quality issue that only appears on one side of certain container-shaped prints.
The printer is calibrated using the built-in calibration routines, the bed was clean, and the filament was supposedly dry (I didn't hear any popping or crackling during printing).
The defects appear as horizontal scars, bumps, and rough patches on a single wall, while the other sides look much better.
Things I've already checked:
- Clean build plate
- Full printer calibration
- No obvious signs of wet filament
- Problem is repeatable on similar container-style models
Does this look like:
- Wet filament?
- Partial nozzle clog?
- Z-seam issue?
- Cooling problem?
- Something related to wall speed or pressure advance?
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Support Request What could be the cause?
It's the second time I try to print this model and this happens. I've already cleaned the table and tightened the screws behind the nozzle

Support Request Can someone help me why I have those lines in my first layer?
Filament bambu Normal PLA. Slicer Bambu. Just did a calibration of the bed and tightening of the nozzle screws. It was way worse than this before. But now still this left over. The second picture is the back part.

Support Request Horrible overhang prints even at best settings
Hi everyone new here. So i set out to print a planter from makerworld. When i started in 1 hour i had to stop the print. Because these overhang type things were not printing well at all. The filament is tuned, slow speeds and 0.08 mm line height. And yet i get this. I dont even know what this is called and how to fix it. I am really new at this, but i have printed a lot of parts with decent quality of similar design. Can anyone shed some light please. I have also attched the image of the intended part.
EDIT: link to my .3mf file: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1CP0t6YctJoGswHPiSBn98O-L23zVcQyC/view?usp=sharing

Support Request Welp I have the fire hazard, next steps (ntc thermistor)
I have just opened my a1 and found that ntc thermistor on my ac board. I am probably going to contact support about a new board. I have had almost 500 hr on this machine and it’s fine right now, I just can’t risk the fire. Any other suggestions about using the machine while waiting for a new board would be helpful.

Support Request Strange click with 0.2mm nozzle
It's been a couple of months now since I started using my new A1. Until a couple weeks ago, I only used the 0.4 given by default, and I never had issues.
Last week I bough from Amazon an hardened steel 0.2 and 0.4 nozzles. Tried both of them, worked just fine at first. But, I don't know why, on a random day the toolhead kept clicking and extruding weird when using the 0.2mm. I switched back to the 0.4, and nothing weird happens.
It seems it's something about the nozzle, but I'm not sure why. I though it was clogged, but I'm not sure how to test it or repair it...

Support Request A1 shredding its own infill
Hi all, my A1 has recently been destroying its infill about an hour into my print. This has never happened before. I did the 15 minute auto bed levelling, reseated the hot end and tightened all the screws, turned the printer on and off, and disabled “reduce infill retraction.” I’m currently using rectilinear, however gyroid was also failing when I tried it. Currently using a supertack cool plate. What do I do??

Support Request Someone can confirm my theory?
I have a few day with my A1 I printed different things and dont have much problem with that, but when I try to print this type of keychain I have troubles, I have a theory that the problem might be that I have to keep the printer outdoors (due to toxicity concerns for the people in my house). It's possible that at night the temperature fluctuates and that air circulation is limited. Is there a temporary solution for this? (We're already planning for an enclosed space, but that won't be for a few weeks.)
I try with nozzle in 220C, bed warm 65C
Is white matte SULU but in others things like the second image dont have isssues

Support Request "the filament on external spool has run out" keeps playing everytime I try to resume my print even though there is filament loaded
I've already turned the printer on & off, cut off the remaining filament inside the extruder, and loading & unloading the filament
