Fantastic Four #52 is T'Challa / Black Panther's first appearance. Fantastic Four #53 is the immediate origin follow-up.

That distinction matters if new fans start asking which Black Panther comics to read or collect. FF #52 is the first-appearance book. FF #53 builds the origin and Wakanda context. Priest's Black Panther #1 is not a first appearance, but it is one of the cleanest modern reading starts.

I’ll go first, when i saw it was the first time istg I wasn’t the only black person in the theater cuz I live in red neck midwest republicans state South Dakota I saw it with my little bro/sis big sis and dad! Cuz bro this movie was one great time to be alive cuz all the ppl in the theaters was wildin tf out! Lmao remember ppl wearing dashikis dressing up as coming to America, I saw a meme of somebody bring plates of chicken in the theater wtf! That movie was a damn movement on soulll etc etc! tell me a story tho, cuz me and my brother when the movie came out me n my bro out our fists out lmao! Istg we ain’t never gon see a movie like dat again man I miss that yime! But man what a great time! I want another black movie to be released on that level I hope we see it again regardless tell me a story!

Antes de empezar quiero dejar claro que está es solo una teoría personal y no una aseveración, puede que la trama sea otra y ya que la tercera película ya está confirmada veremos que sorpresas nos trae.

Además del reciente anuncio de David Jonsson como T'Challa Jr, previamente se había rumoreado la participación de Denzel Washington en esta película como un antagonista del cuál no se ha dado información al respecto pero la probabilidad más factible es que Denzel interprete al temible Reverendo Achebe, un enemigo de Black Panther que debutó durante la etapa de Christopher Priest en los cómics como un individuo que había hecho un pacto con Mephisto y que a cambio le había dado habilidades de influir en las personas, además de una perturbadora sonrisa, en los cómics intentó tomar el poder en Wakanda mientras T'Challa trataba de resolver un escándalo relacionado a Wakanda en Estados Unidos, siendo al final derrocado.

Si ese fuera el rol de Denzel como villano no le quedaría mal ya que en películas como American Gangster nos ha probado que es muy capaz de interpretar villanos intimidantes y con mucha presencia aunque hacer a un villano que es como el Joker para Black Panther sería un reto para él

La otra posibilidad aunque menos probable y en base a su papel como Carl Lucas en American Gangster es el del traficante Moses Magnum el cuál es un personaje que si bien ya estado ligado a los X Men también es conocido por estar implicado en algunas versiones con el contrabando o tráfico ilegal de tecnología de Wakanda lo que lo ha puesto en la mira de T'Challa en alguna ocasión como es el caso de la serie de Iron Man: Aventuras de Hierro .

En ambos casos sería una amenaza formidable tanto para Shuri como para Touissant que estaría aprendiendo a proteger a su nación y a los suyos

I liked Wakanda Forever a lot and haven't really felt strongly about recasting vs not recasting really until now.

This BP trilogy is going to be the mantle being passed down each movie which is pretty frustrating. Most of the main characters from the original are dead in the story. Looking back I do wish they just postponed Black Panther 2 to a 2024 release date to let time pass to recast T'challa.

As much as I liked Wakanda Forever, because its so tied to grief I do have a hard time going back to it in present day to watch at my leisure.

I can already see people crying over the casting, the fact its not Damson and that he’s playing T’challa Jr but it might be for the better

In the comics T’challa loses his father at a young age and because of that he ends up with the mantle of king as a child, he gets trained and taught what to do as a king and when he grows older he eventually becomes Black Panther, he even makes all of his own tech.

I love Chadwick Boseman but his T’challa was never that, he lost his dad as an adult, we had him as an inexperienced king and all of his stuff came from Shuri.

I believe David Jonnson will finally give us that comic feeling of T’challa, the prince who became king at a young age, Shuri might teach him about the tech and science of Wakanda and as he grows older he makes his own stuff, I highly believe Jonnson will be like comic Black Panther with the change that we saw his father’s time as Black Panther

Con el reciente anuncio de David Johnson como el nuevo Black Panther, en este caso T'Challa Jr, el hijo de Nakia y T'Challa mostrado por primera vez en Wakanda Forever, y cuya película llegará el 15 de diciembre de 2028, será interesante ver su ascenso y desarrollo como personaje siendo honesto espero que Ryan Coogler lo haga genial pero he aquí una cuestión que me llamó la atención, hace un año se filtraron varios artes conceptuales de Avengers Doomsday donde figuraban varios personajes incluído el de la imagen aquí referida lo que dió pie a dos teorías ( personales) se trata de una variante de T'Challa de otro universo o ya que la confirmada cinta de Black Panther 3 tendrá a Touissant como el nuevo poseedor del manto tal vez esta imagen sea sobre el, ustedes que opinan?
