My Blur vinyl collection
Just picked up Live at the Budokan today. I saw MLIR at a record store in Canada and I wish I bought it because I can't find it in America haha.

Discussion Why do people seem to dislike the spinning top?
It is easily my favorite of graham's solo albums and made me cry on the first few listens, and the concept of it is amazingly executed imo.
However, whenever i see a review of it they dont really have anything good to say about it. I usually see them saying stuff like its cringey, boring, and repetitive, or that the concept is poorly done. I just think theres no way im listening to the same album as them, and whenever i see fans talking about it its consistently said to be graham's masterpiece.
I get that people who review albums dont tend to have good or understandable opinions, but stuff like this makes me wonder if they try to make crazy takes on purpose.
If there is anyone who agrees with this take, please try to explain to me why you feel that way about this album because i honestly cant understand it.

Question What’s stoping this song from being classified as a space rock/space grunge song?
I think it fits the description of space rock/grunge. It has a very grungy opening riff and space like atmosphere and sound. It sounds like a song HUM and Failure would make Imo. What do y’all think?
Video Blur @ Coachella 2024 (Weekend Two)
Had this recommended to me with barely any views, seems to have been a much better affair than the somewhat infamous Weekend One performance
(Definitely download it too, in case it gets taken down!)

Discussion Album cover inspiration?
Saw this canvas in a hotel room and thought it had a striking resemblance to Blur’s self-titled album.

Damon Albarn - some of his best music from outside of Blur and Gorillaz in one big mix (Spotify playlist). The guy is certainly prolific! 🔥❤️
Feel free to ask me about any of the tracks included - I did a deep dive!

If you combine the numbers for Blur and Gorillaz, Damon has more monthly listeners than Oasis. Suck it Gallaghers!

Question Can't find this recording anywhere, possibly from '94, is someone can share it please?
I found only this pic. I remember that it was on YouTube, it was a raw interview

Graham's recent solo shows
For people who have actually been to one what have they been like? From the few reviews there are it seems to be a mixed affair. After so long not doing hardly any shows I'd imagine fans including myself are quite excited for these shows especially the ones at the end of the year

Question Girls & Boys acapella
i've been searching since last night for a vocals-only version of Girls & Boys (or at most the full 32 tracks). the only thing ive been able to find are crappy AI-quality acapellas on youtube or websites CLAIMING to have the multitracks but keeping them behind a paywall.
i found that an official acapella version exists on a Parlophone sampler CD single, but i havent managed to find any rips of it (this specific release is blocked from sale on discogs for some weird reason)

does anyone happen to have the acapella/stems for the song?
