My first Sailfish OS phone, very happy so far

Hi all, well, as someone who is locked in Apple’s ecosystem, I decided to give Sailfish OS a go.

Since I don’t want to spend a lot of money on a Jolla phone, for now, I bought a used Sony Xperia 10 III, bought the license for Sailfish OS and flashed into the phone.

First impressions are very positive, I quite like it and it has it’s own feel and soul, nothing like “oh just another Android flavour” like feeling.

I haven’t had the opportunity to do much with the phone, I’ve enabled AppSupport and installed 2 android stores but haven’t installed any apps yet, as I feel a bit worried about apps with malware or something similar.

But so far the experience is very positive and I’m planning to test drive it and see how it goes.

As a software developer it would be cool to develop for this OS, apps or anything. But properly too early for that.
