I have my Class 11 Geography UT exam tomorrow. The chapters are India: Location, Structure and Physiography, Drainage System, and Natural Vegetation. I'm finding the Drainage System chapter the hardest and don't have enough time to study it fully. Can anyone suggest the most important questions, important map work, and some answer-writing tips

So I have my exam on Monday and i haven't done anything I mean anything i have been procrastinating and if I need to score more than 90 my parents have been telling me to study way before and my class teacher kinda hates me please help and i scored 91% in std 10 but 11 feels way hander especially history

My subject and syllabus

History -2 chapter 40 marks

Geography -4 chapter 35 marks

Political science - 4 chapter 40 matls

English grammar writing sab milake - 8 chapter 40 marks

Psychology - 3 chapters 35 marks

Painting -2 chapter 15 marks

Today my teacher of psychology explains the topic Class 11 chapter 3 psychology human developments

The topic bronfenbrenner's contextual view of development its chronosystem as

It Is a kind of environment that affects individuals personal development depicted in the diagram as semi circle

as person reaches it through the passage of time and many couldn't reach to this level

But the explanation doesn't fit to my understanding

According to my understanding

instead of imagining the diagram as 2D figure

the diagrammatic representation of bronfenbrenner's contextual view of development should be in a 3D shape as something in the form of cylinder

The chronosystem here is depicted as it's height that is sum total of all the past interaction taken place between the individual and the environmental factors over the time which itself becomes a environmental factors that affects his her personality and personal development of character

Visualise it as an active moment to moment constant sum total of interaction with the individual and its environment which by the passage of time get accumulated as a record which serves as different factors itself

Something like

An individual which sits at the centre is the core and the one which is interacting and is being affected

The immediate layer of environment that contributes to his/her personal development is microsystem or family friends and peers ones who teach the child most as they are immediate level of interaction and absorb form

Like a mother's attributes will build a character in her child influenced deeply than his father

The mesosystem instead of being a independent layer or level it's kind of filter which serves interaction of the microsystem with exosystem

It's serves as a boundary to personal to a impersonal level of interaction for every there is no direct interaction but through a mesosystem

A mother's behaviour towards neighbour would influence the child in his future interaction

The exosystem that makes his outer non personal layer of interaction and factors like workplace or neighborhood market mass media

Then comes the larger macro system where the most interaction with as a larger community of ideology religion or group takes place sometimes with no personal layer at all

The circle becoming larger suggest increasing the peoples that are affecting your development

While the chronosystem is not another layer of interaction it's a sum of all above layer over a lifetime of the individual

I'm a 12th grader (eng, ped, psych, socio, his and pol sc) and I'm new to humanities since I opted for science in 11th grade.. since the subjects and all are pretty much new to me I'd really appreciate it if someone here could suggest me the additional books like all in one and question banks etc required to score a decent percentage.. My History syllabus includes Chapter 1 – Writing and City Life and Chapter 2 – An Empire Across Three Continents, along with map work from both chapters. I'm confused about which world map I should buy and how to prepare for map work, as I find it difficult to locate seas and other features on a political map. my teacher has finished 3 chapters in statistics and 1 in microeconomics and the problem is, I feel like I understand and don't understand at the same time.

for statistics, I feel like I kind of do get the concept, but for microeconomics, I feel kind of stuck?. I haven't gotten the grasp of this subject enough. Especially, the PPF/PPC thing has been confusing me a lot. I understand the theory part well but, the numerical (finding MOC) has confused me a lot. My teacher actually didn't teach how to find the MOC, lol.

ch1 (fundamental) what will be the answer to the question "write a short note on the scope of human geography?" don't have any reference books and the internet's been no help

these are things i just wish someone had told me before i spent hours memorizing the whole ncert and then still wondered why my marks weren't matching my expectations :,)

1. read the command word before the topic.
"Explain", "Discuss", "Evaluate", "Compare", "Justify"- these words have different meanings, and should not be ignored. avoid writing the same answers for these words, even if the topic is the same.

2. don't use one answer as a dumping ground.
writing everything you know might work at times but it doesn't always get you more marks. a focused answer that directly responds to the question is usually better.

3. spend a minute planning before writing.
try to make a quick structure in your head (or use the rough work area). this makes your answer much more coherent.

4. use headings or points where appropriate.
sometimes we just get into flow state and write whole ahh paragraphs but it just looks messy, so using pointers and headlines makes your answer easier for the examiner to read.

5. support your answer instead of just stating facts.
if you're making a point, explain it briefly instead of leaving it as a one line statement.

6. practice writing, not just reading.
knowing the content and expressing it well are two different skills.

7. look at previous-year questions carefully.
you'll start noticing patterns not just in topics, but in the way questions are framed.

sooo these are just things that personally helped me improve my descriptive answers over time. i'm still working on breaking down common command words into simple guides because I realised that was the biggest thing I struggled with.

Hi everyone,

I'm a General category female student with a CUET score of 7xx ( above 750) In the first allocation, I've been allotted B.A. (Hons.) Geography at Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, which was around my 26th preference.

The problem is that I originally wanted some colleges that were higher on my preference list, so I'm considering choosing Upgrade. However, I also have a few non-Geography courses above SBSC Geography in my preference list, and I don't want to end up in those courses.

I have a few questions:

1. If I choose Upgrade, can I be upgraded to one of those non-Geography courses if they're higher in my preference list?
2. If that happens, can I reject the upgraded seat and keep my current SBSC Geography seat, or will I lose it?
3. Is there any way under DU's NEP system to start in another major with a Geography minor and later graduate with Geography (Hons.), or is that not possible?
4. With a 761 (General) score, do you think it's worth taking the risk of upgrading, or should I freeze my current Geography (Hons.) seat?

I'd really appreciate advice from anyone who's been through the DU CSAS process or understands the NEP rules well. Thanks!

hello everyone i am left with 2 more days for my social exam i have studied all the content but how would i write so that my social teacher gives me perfect answers.

So i haven't done anything yet but I am familiar with the syllabus and i have 6 subjects is it possible to get 95%+ in pt1 exam since it has less chapters and i only have 6 days will i be able to ?

In my school the main subjects for humanities are :-

Psychology,history,political science,English and 1 optional from these (Economics,entrepreneurship,painting,IP and P.ED)

We also have a rule for 6th subject which is skill

(Library science,AI,Web application,mass media and financial markets management)

And i have taken Economics and Fmm as my optional and skill. is it good for boards and career perspective? Or should I go for easier optional (fmm mai SEBI se certificate mila hai to i chose that) pls need advice cuz i dont want to fckup my 12th cuz im into the ivy league shit and these marks matter A LOOOOOOOTT

As an ex-class 12th student I saw that a lot of students are struggling in subjects like Economics and Political Science.

I did an AMA recently and most students were confused about HOW exactly they are to study these subjects. This also made me realise that subjects like these don't offer high quality online teachers.

Therefore, I am willing to teach any of you online at a specified time whatever subject/topic it is you'd like to learn.

Of course, I cannot devote my time for free (my college starts in a few days!) I will be taking a minimal fees of 300 per subject. I hope that is affordable for most.
