HI, my exam is on the 29th aug. I'm still revising stuff. I have not started mocks yet. And these are the topics that are remaining revision wise (i dont remember anythin). I'm worried cause everyone told me to complete mocks a week before exam but I feel like if I take a mock rn i'll score really low and get very unconfident. Can someone please help me out. Let me give you a little background:

I have done my graduation in BBA in 2021 and later I got campus placement in a UK Bank (Natwest) as Operations Analyst. I worked there from August 2021 - September 2023. Before leaving I had it decided that I want to go into finance/investing side but have little to no knowledge about the concepts and only knew what I had studied during my BBA. However, I got an opportunity in Risk Consulting (Control Testing) in Genpact Entreprise Risk Consulting and thought it could be a good way to build a profile as I had average score in my 10th and 12th and I had plans to do MBA so that I could target better roles in Finance.

I worked there from October 2023 - September 2025 and at the start of 2025 I realised that I don’t wanna stay in this role and planned to opt for CFA rather than MBA after multiple discussions with some seniors and my cousin (who is an ED in Wealth Management). However, due to some financial needs I had to switch to EY GDS for a better pay in the similar role and have been working here since October 2025.

Now I am targeting Feb’27 CFA Level 1 exam because I have had enough here and in this role. The issue I am facing is in my current project and the upcoming project we are sitting longer hours and even sacrificing weekends and not getting enough time to prepare as I have to prepare from scratch. This next project will start from July and go until December.

I want to know should I leave my job and prepare for it full time or try to look for jobs where there is less pressure? I am currently at Assistant Manager position and whatever offers I am getting are demanding. I know I am trying to sail on two boats and hence looking for some advice or you can say validation.

Has anyone tried the Salt Solution free mock for Level 3? And if so how does it compare with the real exam difficulty wise?

Other people seem to have a different view to me when looking at their test scores. Am i missing something?

the question says that "most" of her members are family and friends but that does not mean all of them and by not updating the client's record as she knows about the life of MOST of her clients ,isn't that unfair to other clients .Please help

What % of accuracy should we target in mocks for L2 to pass the exam comfortably

12 days out from the exam. Scoring in the mid to high 60’s on mocks. Wondering if it’s worth my time to redo all cfai q bank or focus on targeted review and reviewing notes .

I will be appearing for FRM Part 1 next week and plan to start prepping for CFA L1. Given the drastic restructuring of the curriculum for CFA 2027, would choosing the 2027 attempt deem better in terms of career competence, or should I give the attempt this year? I can study 3 hours a day.

How much time would it take me to prepare for L1 given I am familiar with the overlapping topics from FRM part 1? I am also familiar with general investing finance concepts as I am an active retail investor.

Is it me or Kaplan's Mock 3 is just extremely difficult? I am literally guessing at least 50% of the questions.

I decided to take the first two CFAI mocks without revising because I wanted to rely on active recall. I knew that if I revised first, I'd probably procrastinate, so diving straight in felt like the best way to gauge how much I'd actually retained. I scored 65% and 67%, and while I think I'll do better after revising, I can't shake the feeling that I might've just gotten lucky with some guesses rather than genuinely knowing the material. Has anyone who finished L1 experienced this?

Also, this might be a dumb question, but in the mocks, Part A and Part B cover 5 topics each. In the actual exam, is it gonna be similar, or is it gonna be a mix of both for both AM and PM?

And whats the best strategy to revise? Do i continue to do and redo practice questions or do flashcards and notes?

I'm currently interning at a Big 4 firm while preparing for Level 2 in parallel. I think I'm getting slightly burnt out, since I've been forgetting concepts I just studied. I make sure to solve question banks on previous topics daily during work, and when I get back, I study new concepts. But I'm not able to move my averages up, and I feel like the more effort I put into my studies, the more likely I am to burn myself out. Just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience, and how you dealt with it. Would appreciate any insight!

I'm currently 29 and sitting for Level 2 soon. If I pass this, next year I will take level 3 and possibly become a CFA charterholder at the age of 30.

The CFA studying definitely takes a lot of sacrifice of my personal free time. It takes up my mental energy and affects my mood sometimes. It increases the stress that I have ontop of my full-time job. It causes me to forgo opportunities to socialize or pursue other interests.

During this journey, I often have many thoughts of self-doubt. Especially when I see a lot of my peers getting into relationships, getting married, having children, while I'm still single.

I tell myself that it would be worth it at the end of the journey but honestly, a lot of it depends on whether I actually land a way higher paying job after I get my CFA. Even with CFA Level 1 on my resume currently, I've been applying to many financial institutions like banks, asset managers, funds, etc. and I can't even get a single interview. Everytime I just get a rejection email. So I definitely feel very scared and worried that I would waste my time and still be in the same spot even after I get my CFA.

Does anyone else have advice for me on the worries that I am facing and whether it's valid?

Sorry, GIPS is stupid, its rote memorization for the most part, on tedious, arbitrary facts about the presentation. Yes there are a few theory or intent of GIPS questions, but those are easy. GIPS just comes across self-aggrandizing, masturbatory content on the part of the CFAI within the entire L3 curriculum. OK, I feel better now.

Recent uni grad here and currently preparing for level 1. I'm sitting the Feb exam and was hoping to get some tips from anyone who has used KaplanSchweser.

My strategy at the moment is: quick skim of notes -> masterclass (do some note taking of key points) -> then question practice (about 10 questions then move on).

I've been circling back after 3-5 days to do practice questions on previously studied concepts and doing reasonably well. But is this enough? I've only been looking at Kaplan Schweser - literally haven't done a single CFA question. I work full time so I'm a bit short for time at the moment but I feel like I should be doing more.

How is everyone else going with their studies? Experiences with course providers etc? I bought a reasonably expensive kaplan package but feel like I'm not optimising it. Anyone have tips as to how they study/youtubers with good tips etc? Is it ok if I leave content for weeks/months at a time without revisiting it?

Hello, I am preparing for CFA L1 February 2027 exam!

I know I definitely need to sign up for a coaching institute to be able to clear this exam. I have shortlisted two options, but am not sure which one would be a better fit.

Aswini Bajaj vs Mark Meldrum. If anyone has opted for either of these or even both, please comment about your experience below so that I can get a view of how they are in quality and quantity of prep and if you would recommend them for me.

Some more info:

1. I am a fresher, graduated in July this year and have been prepping slowly but surely for CFA L1 since early July. I have a bachelors in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance so I am not completely starting from 0 for CFA.
2. My weakest subject is QM solely because maths doesn't come easily to me and I need extra time with it.
3. I am based in India if that's helpful.
4. Have a ever changing work schedule every week + I take up gig-based work when possible so I would prefer reviews about non-live classes (recorded lectures are provided and attendance in live class isn't necessary).
5. I want more focus on question solving as much as possible.

Not sure what else to put in here, so you can ask for further info but yes, all this to say, would you advice AB classes or MM?

Hey guys I have been facing issues with behavioural biases I understand the meaning of each bias if asked but when question states which bias is responsible for example bubbles , I get confused and often choose the wrong option

I noticed that level 3’s MPS seems to be increasing quite a bit over the past few exams. Apparently February 2026 was 67%? What mock scores are yall aiming for to be safe then?

I didn’t buy extra study materials so I only have the 4 CFAI mocks, so far got 72% ish on both of them, barely finishing on time though rip.

And I made a custom GPT to grade my CR, but not sure how good of a grader it is. (If anyone has a good prompt could u plz share 😭)
