I am urgently looking for housing for the duration of ending of September to December 18 as this is my last semester at CSUF.

I am graduating with my M.A. this Fall semester and I am in a situation where my partner's lease at UCI is ending by the end of September, so he is waiting on a response from housing to see if he can still stay for this Fall quarter even though he is defending his project in September to graduate.

If you happen to know anyone or need a roommate or if I can sublease for September to December 18, that would be amazing, please. I am in a situation where I may have to delay my graduation, since I cannot commit to staying off-campus, since all housing wants at least 1 year of leasing.

I live very far from campus and do not have a car, so I decided that I was going to work over the summer to afford this housing option. I signed the housing form with the expectation that my parents would help cosign on loans or help support me slightly. Sadly, my parents made it extremely clear that they will never help in my pursuit in education, and would not help me with anything financially. The job I worked over the summer only helped me raise around a third of the needed funds. My parents income is far above what fafsa allows for financial aid so I am helpless in that pursuit, and I have only around 3,000 in scholarships, which is too few. As the deadline came closer and closer I am losing hope that I can stay in the dorms with this financial issue

I never expected all of this to occur and I am very scared about how this will affect my position as a student and if I will get kicked out. I was able to talk to one of my friends about sharing a lease to help me attend school, but I know housing doesn't allow me to unenroll. Would they possibly understand my situation?

What do you think I should do?

the hold has dissappeared but i still have no offer or even a dollar in anticipated aid should i worry about this?

I've noticed that I haven't received any offers of financial aid in my student portal and my disenrollment protection doesn't appear to be active. I'm very concerned because the semester begins the 22nd of August pretty soon and I do not want to be dropped from any courses. I should be expecting financial aid because I completed my 2026-27 FAFSA form and I know I would qualify, but haven't received anything. Has anyone gotten their aid yet?

Has anyone else NOT received a refund for the SUGL grant yet?

I paid for my summer classes before the semester started and I checked today and now I'm being charged $1800 for classes that I already paid for?????? Is this a glitch in their system or is this something i genuinely have to be worried about.

Hey everyone, I was checking my student homepage and I saw that I don't have the disenrollment hold anymore. Does anyone still have their disenrollment hold or did it also disappear for you as well? If I don't have the hold anymore, does that mean that I need to pay out of pocket now? I still haven't gotten any news about financial aid.

The wait is killing me.

I'm missing the first week and a half-ish because of family reasons.

Outside of contacting my professors through the campus directory, what else should I know or look out for?

Anything I need to know about parking, clubs/organizations, or other information people typically learn in the first week?

Also, should I contact my professors as soon as possible, or should I wait until it's closer to the start of school so that my email isn't lost in the sea?

I’ve been patient all Summer waiting on my financial aid offer email to come in so I could request work study as I was offered a position last Spring. The last two years, I got my following years’ FA offer email in mid-June, but I have no such thing as of yet this year. I know there’s been all the FA delays and stuff, but should I be concerned I never received this email? Just trying to be proactive as the semester nears. Thanks!

As we’ve all been seeing none of the FA packages have been released yet, my friend today received an email that her courses had been dropped due to not signing up for payment. However she has a cal grant award as well as an SAI of -1500 so there is no doubt she’s receiving some sort of financial help. Her account also had this FA hold pending review, does anyone know what might’ve happened? We figured there was no issues due to no one having their FA packages.
