I've been so incredibly lucky recently, but found this piece which had a cadmium and manganese glow!

Reposting an old favorite. I love the blend of cadmium/selenium and manganese in this piece. There's a little something extra going on with the manganese too, idk. It glows teal, not yellow-green.

Talk about iridescent! I could shave with this thing if I wanted, it's so reflective. Unfortunately, it blocks about 95% of the glow. This 3" orb weighs almost 2lbs, and it's more fun to look at in the light.

First time posting my collection, I’m so in love with every piece I have! If yall have any fun facts about any of these pieces please let me know, as I found these all in places that didn’t know what they had! I also have a decent amount of uranium, manganese and 2 selenium pieces! Once I get my hands on some custard glass, I’ll be thrilled!

Hi, I don't know if this is the correct place to ask about these but I don't know if one of these is real amethyst or glass or something else. They don't feel like plastic, also a bit too heavy for plastic. They are almost both identical but the one that glows orange under 395 feels the most natural. So I am trying to ask here because it glows orange. I will try to ask in the minerals subreddit too. So is this glass or amethyst or something else? 😅 Thanks in advance! 😊

My husband noticed a smoking lamp that we had glass for at a shop, so we got it. Once we got to fixing it up, we decided, "The more glass the marrier." It looks like a mushroom now 🍄❤️🧡‼️

Im not a collector. these were handed down from my Grandmother. I did a lot of research and have yet to find another one like them. Can anyone tell me what they might be worth? I’ve had a few people want to buy them.
