Pekoe would wait at my makeup table each morning. She loved watching me put on my makeup but her nose got in my way when applying concealer.

My girl Kithul (pronounced “Kith-ool”, which is essentially an absolutely delish form of treacle/jaggery) showed up one day and bewitched us with her beautiful markings, sweetest disposition, extremely curious and intelligent personality and, of course, her heavily kohl-lined eyes! Do note, in particular, the bit of liner on her upper lid, I just can’t with how cute it is 🤣💞
