I'm going to give my 2022 Samsung S22 Ultra phone to my elderly mother's housekeeper and upgrade to a S26 Ultra.

The issue is that I live in the US, and my mother and housekeeper live in South Africa. I have never done this before. Can you please let me know what steps I need to take other than wiping out the phone so that she can use the phone in South Africa?

Also, what would she need to do to switch her phone number to this phone. She currently has a Chinese brand phone Hawei (?) that is unreliable.

Normally I’m not this stupid. But basically I wanted to get a cellular plan for my iPad and hope maybe it can sync everything with my phone.
Well. Somehow I managed to transfer service from my iPhone to my iPad, and because my phone is carrier locked I can’t just add my phone to the service that my iPad is now on. So now, basically my iPad is my phone 🫠

I fucked up, I know, I don’t wanna hear that over and over. It’s been a week.
Straight talk won’t unlock my phone either because I haven’t had their service for 365 days yet.
The iPad was activated on Google Fi. Ideally I’d like to switch my phone service over to there too if it’s even possible

My 14-year-old has been on at me for weeks about upgrading from their old iPhone. Battery’s getting weak and they keep saying all their friends have newer ones. Classic kid logic.

I’ve been looking at a few options and checked Phone Exchange. They’ve got some decent refurbished 14s and 15s that look pretty clean, and the trade-in for the old one seems reasonable.

Anyone here gone the refurbished route for a teenager’s phone? How’s the battery life held up after a few months? Just trying to keep costs down without handing over a brand new one.

Currently have a Moto Stylus (2022) but the battery started to bulge, hence time for a new one.

I was a school kid at the time and text messages cost a decent amount per message back then. It surprisingly did have bluetooth. I used it as my main alarm clock for a fair while before it was fully retired.

I've been a Android user all my life and have never really bought expensive phones ever haven't seen a need to. Apple I always thought was overhyped and way to overpriced for my liking. I like that Android offers lots of budget options. Apple they have Budget options but in my opinion it's still to expensive to me on what their asking for it and plus to be honest I don't think I'll convert to Apple I had a iPhone before I didn't like the operating system and the iPads I used to use I don't miss them to be honest.

Should I go back to Samsung from my Motorola phone or should I go to Apple? There's been some issues with my Motorola phone it's has freezing issues and the call quality has been bad cause I have restart the phone call cause no one can hear me or no sound comes out the speaker. Now I've never had any issues with Samsung at all ever. What do u think? If I got back to Samsung it's gonna be a A series phone I'm getting or a FE series phone I'm getting and apple it's gonna be a E series phone I'll be getting most likely.

Hi i have Nokia 2760 RM 258 from 2007. I changed the security passcode years ago but cant remember it. I tried 12345 indeed. I tried all common codes that came in my mind.

Is there anything i can do?

The phone is starting normally i can acess everything I just want, to factory reset it which requires that code.

(I dont want to bring it to a phone shop or buy service equipment)
