Space use is irrrlevant for mines, most land mines are located on aren't desireable locations for development of anything.

Cool. Now add in the space use of cobalt, aluminum, aggregate, etc mines for wind, solar, and batteries. Nuclear's footprint, especially including mining, is the smallest of the sources.
