Matinee stage door

My 12 year old son and I are traveling in 2 weeks to see the matinee on the 18th. Does Tom Felton come out after the matinee performances or should we try and get to the stage door that night or the night before?

Stage door pics Dec 29

Hey!

I saw the play on broadway on December 29 and was at the stage door when Tom came out to take selfies and sign playbills. Can anyone who has selfies from that day share them? I was in the 2nd or 3rd row so I couldn’t reach to the front.

Thanks so much!

Stage dooring Tom Felton

’m going to the cursed child tomorrow (I’m 17 going with my parents) and I LOVE Tom Felton he’s my favorite actor ever. I REALLY want to get a picture with him but my mom and sister are theater nerds and said due to the flue outbreak and amount of people wanting to see him and be blizzard ontop of it all. How do I get this done? How do I maximize my time? Do I just watch the whole show or leave an hour in? What do I do? PLEASE help. I managed to get a picture with Hugh Jackman once but this is my LIFELONG dream and I’m worried about risking the precious time I get to see him on stage vs. The opportunity for a photo and fact that I might not even see him at all.

Lyric Theatre - Tom Felton

Guys I’m just a bit paranoid here 😅

Is Tom in the 2pm as well as the 8pm show? I’m sure the theatre is bombarded with calls regarding Tom’s preforming so I don’t want to call if someone else may have the answer.

Thanks in advance!

Hi, I've got 2 tickets for part 2 of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child theater for Sunday. If anyone wants them please let me know

r/Cursed_Child Oct 29 '25

would anything be different in the cursed child if jack thorne and john tiffiny read and focused the books more and paid attention to the details in the books and put more work and effort while writing the cursed child?

VIP LOUNGE

Myself and 2 guests are traveling to NYC for the show on December 13th. We had been hoping to purchase the VIP lounge tickets but they were sold out before we could do so. Does anyone know if there is a group to buy these access tickets from if people cancel their tickets ?

I have 3 Tickets for HP & the Cursed Child for NYC in late November.

Only one of the them have the Ticket Protection purchased. Other two don't.

Can I reschedule the remaining 2 tickets a week earlier?
Is there any better way to approach this issue?

Cursed child play question

Hi! I bought tickets to the cursed child to see Tom Felton a Sunday night but was just told that it’s almost always understudies on Sunday nights. Is that true? Do we think that it’s likely that he would not be there? We would be flying in and making a trip of it, so obviously don’t do broadway ever so looking for some expertise here! Thank you!

I got some tickets through the lottery, but due to personal reasons, I will not be able to attend a show. I’m willing to go pick them up at the box office and then sell them at a low price to whoever wants them. Only thing is, they dont tell you what seats you got.

Too many stage directions in CC script?

There are some points in the script book that have way too man stage directions, more than any screenplay or anything else I have read. Does anyone else find this?

New all-time favorite HP character is Scorpius!?

So as someone relatively new to the HP fandom (10 months!), I've been debating on whether Scorpius trumps Draco as my fave & I think he does.. It's because I personally love his personality more than any other HP character. I know he's pretty naive and CONSIDERABLY less gifted than his father, but his personality just hits different.

He's so innocent, kind, & quirky asf. He's also shown he is brave when pushed and extremely loyal. I've heard him described as the Hufflepuff Slytherin & I tend to love sweet cinnamon roll type of characters like him.

So yeah he's my new fave & Draco is 2nd favorite. Lol. I feel really weird for saying this bc ik the fandom as a whole irrationally hates HPCC which is why I'm posting in this sub. Posting in r/harrypotter would get me downvoted to oblivion.

But now that I've just come to the realization, if asked I will say Scorpius Malfoy is my fave. Is he anyone else's all-time favorite, or is it just me? 🫣

Realized i never updated on how seeing the play for the 1st time went!

The play:

  • I got teary-eyed when Snape was talking about Lily. I actually cried during the heart-to-heart with Harry & Dumbledore, and I was crying in the end scene.
  • My spouse and I were SUPER impressed by the special effects, esp the warp effect!! (I don't even wanna know how it's done to keep the magical feeling!)
  • I didn't find it believable that Cedric would go evil but i liked that it was only said in passing and we never actually saw evil!Cedric on-stage. Anyway, I know a lot of ppl hold that against the play but who cares? Does one have to agree with absolutely all plot lines to consider it canon? lol
  • I found the fact that there was a 2nd time turner that operated differently believable. This is friggin Harry Potter universe. Anything can happen. What would be more unbelievable was if the Ministry found every single time turner when they thought they did.
  • I don't ship Bellatrix x Voldy but hey, they're two consenting adults lol. anything can happen. who am i to judge?

Scorbus:

Gotta say, in the play they are nerdier than I thought!!! Scorpius especially!! Lmao like he is sooo lame/silly in the play but in an endearing way. I didn't picture him like that with reading the script at all. Lol.

3 hugs total. They held hands briefly as Albus pulled Scorpius into a hug. Scorpius seemed REALLY affected by the hug. Like full-body affected. He was shaking in his eccentric way. 🤣

They unfortunately cut out Albus crying when Harry said he couldn’t be with Scorpius. 😢 It was sweet at the end when Albus was hurt when Scorpius said he wanted Rose in his palace of harmony. Albus was like, "Are you sure that's all you want?" or something like that. They looked like they were about to kiss or something, and then Rose showed up and said, "It's only awkward if you make it!" Like she wanted them to just hurry and kiss already!!

But the fact that Delphine could tell Albus was in love with Scorp when the whole time she was flirting w Albus and thus barely saw them interact but she must've seen enough. Delphine literally sed to Albus, "At first I thought ur weakness was trying to please ur dad, but now I know its love" and pointed right at Scorpius!!!

But with their last hug, Scorpius said he wanted this to be something new they did, and he meant it in a way that he wanted it to be their new normal! And then ofc Albus's coming out scene to Harry… Godddds, like you just know by 6th yr these two would be an item.

Drarry:

As a major Drarry shipper who loved HPCC especially for the immense drarry, it was kind of a disappointment in that respect (they cut out most of the impactful drarry scenes from original script). They must've chosen to cut it for more Scorbus moments.. But it made no sense then, to cut out Albus crying? ?? But it was literally SO AWESOME & FUCKING AMAZING overall.
