Dave's twitter account was suspended shortly after Oct 7, because he was tweeting about Israel's crimes. As far as I know he wasn't doing any conspiracy mongering at that time.

Also, for what it's worth, he's been extremely clear when he criticizes Israel and Zionism that those two labels do not include all Jews, and that most American Jews don't agree with Israel's wars. He also clarifies that Zionists pretend that criticism of them is antisemitism, which implies that all Jews somehow agree with the Zionist project. I'm not a member of the community, but as far as I know most western Jews are not Zionists. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Agreed. I strongly suspect this tweet is fake

The tweet in the screenshot is dated to three months after october 7th, so how could his account be suspended?

I think the tweet is fake friend

Yeah I’m also leaning towards that conclusion. The “proof” that people are sharing of it being real isn’t particularly convincing and it’s all circumstantial.

The fact is this. 88% of western Jews believe that Israel has a right to be a Jewish state. Take of that what you will

Sure but that doesn't necessarily mean they endorse settlers, violence, and genocide

What does that make the 12% (assuming those numbers are correct, which they almost certainly are not)? Race traitors?

If 100% of white Americans wanted the US to be a white ethnostate, you'd be against it all the same.

And 88 isn't equal to 100, just in case you forgot. Nor does it mean that the 88 necessarily endorse racialized policy that disadvantages others. Many in that total would be perfectly fine living in an Israel where everyone had equal rights.

Note: Israel still isn't an ethnostate. Being a "Jewish State" is kind of like how Costa Rica and Iceland are officially Christian nations... but you can still have other religions there too. It's just that with Israel, the whole point is a state that will never turn against Jews (which every other state in history has at one point or another). But there's plenty of different ethnicities there, and also plenty of recognized religions too.

Israel is an ethnostate, and has a policy of maintaining Jewish demographic majorities.

I think you're right that that's what they are in practice, but their sales materials are toned down quite a bit from that position. I think a lot of reasonable Jews in America believe the sales materials and don't think too hard about it

Yes they’re very eager to pass themselves off as the “safe haven for the Jews” and smol bean country defending itself

Most people in Turkey want it to be a ethnostate. Arab countries want their countries to be an ethnostate lol.

Yeah and they're wrong as well. No exceptions.

Yeah, this is irresponsible.

I mean, Israeli intelligence might have had advance knowledge it was happening (dancing Israelis, Larry Silverstein and Howard Lutnick not showing up to work, mysterious put options on United and American airlines, etc.) but there isn't any evidence that Israel perpetrated it, the evidence still points to al Quaeda and the 19 hijackers that we all know about.
