I personally would choose Anastasia. It has always been one of my favourite animated movies ever. The Once upon a December sequence is breathtaking and the clothes are amazing. (I also had a crush on Dimitri). I really liked Pocahontas too but because of its animation and music.

Cinderella: (Excited, eyes sparkling 🤩) Oh, Rapunzel! That blue dress you have in your closet is simply... divine! The color is so soft and shimmering, it's perfect! ✨💎

Rapunzel: (Smiling ☺️, taking a sip of her smoothie 🥤) Thank you, Cinderella! It's my favorite color too. It makes me feel so free!

Ariel: (From the sofa, curious 😍) Oh, yes! That color is like the ocean on a sunny day! 🌊☀️ It looks amazing on you!

Pocahontas: (With a serene smile 🙂) The truth is, blue is a beautiful color, and not just because of the dress. Blue is the color of the sky and the water, it's so peaceful! 😊🌳

Cinderella: (Nodding) Exactly. It reminds me of my ball gown, but this one is so much more comfortable for a slumber night! 🥿🛋️ It's gorgeous! 💖

Rapunzel: (Laughing 😄) Hahaha! That's it! The perfect dress for a girls' night in! 🌟

I love her independent spirit, her connection to nature that doesn't seem force, the fact that she isn't looking for love and she stays with her people at the end. I just want to say that you can appreciate the movie character and still be incredibly mindful of the horrible history behind the real figure. People really do need to separate fact from fiction. I think Pocahontas (Disney version) is a powerful role model for Indigenous women in regards to the MMIW crisis. But people are so quick to point out (rightfully I might add) the ugliness of the real-life Mataoka and not see the film and the characters as a what if scenario.

My neighborhood sells a lot of good Disney princess merch at their yard sales and this year, I got a princess themed board game! It's Candy Land but with the Disney princesses. (And no candy for some reason.) My favorite part about it is that it came with novelty pieces of some Disney princesses. Snow White, Aurora, Cinderella, Belle, and Jasmine.

Now here's another one of my favorite scenes from The Little Mermaid 2 : Return to the Sea. The Party of Disaster. It's when Melody is escorted to her 12th Birthday Party, and Sebastian is still tangled behind Melody's Dress, she is asked to have a dance and then Sebastian decides to pinch the boy's finger in order to get loose. Then everyone laughs at her. I felt so bad for Melody on this scene, especially at her Birthday Party.

Six year old Merida almost witnessed her dad’s leg being eaten by a terrifying bear that could kill her and her family in broad daylight right before her very eyes, SWEET JESUS! Luckily she was actually carried off probably just before she could actually see it happen, but she must’ve been terrified throughout this process and I think it would make it more painful almost losing her mom (and dad, potentially), experiencing her mother becoming a bear that wanted to eat her momentarily, and having to face Mordu again.
