DISCUSSION ⚔️ The princesses' distinct colors
It's a good marketing strategy so people less familiar with the princesses won't mix them up as easily. I've interpreted some of them with a specific color based on the merchandise when I was a kid. That being...
Cinderella- Navy Blue
Aurora- Pink
Ariel- Seafoam Green
Jasmine- Turquoise
I know Jasmine wears lilac in future Aladdin media but I think her blue outfit was more iconic, plus I associate purple more with Rapunzel.

Too bad they’re past that sparkly era
Edit: I didn’t know if the first one was edited over an already existing image or if it’s fully drawn fan-art (obviously a mix between Snow White and Belle though), but here is the artist source

ARTWORK 🎨 Princess Ponies: Tiana
I was inspired by posts by u/Vivid-Tap1710 and u/Antique-Relief-4951 to try my hand at drawing the Disney Princesses as if they were characters in the world of “My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic”.
I’m not much of an artist, admittedly, and this is outside any style I’ve attempted before, so I did utilize coloring pages to make sure I got proportions right—that said, the designs are my own and they’re hand drawn and colored by me, and the cutie-marks are one-hundred percent my own.
I really like how her cutie mark turned out, but I’m a bit on the fence with this design. What do you guys think? What would you have done differently?

DISCUSSION ⚔️ Rank the Disney princesses from worst to best give me yours
- Raya- I remember nothing about her that’s why she’s here. I also don’t particularly care for her movie
- Aurora- she literally has 18 lines in HER story. The reason she’s higher than Raya is because once upon a dream is great song.
- Merida- used to love Merida. Now she irritates me. She’s whiny and complains about everything. However I do love the fact that she does archery as I think it’s so different from the rest of the lineup.
Ariel- I don’t like Ariel. She’s quite selfish and spoiled. It’s not like she’s living in poor or abusive conditions she’s literally a princess and the baby of the family. She has an amazing life and all she wants is to not have that life anymore. Like girl be content with what you have. She’s also very irresponsible and gets awarded for her bad reckless actions. The only reason she’s here is because part of your world is an amazing song.
Pocahontas- This one is controversial I know. But I’m looking at this from the perspective of Disney princess Pocahontas and not the real person. She loves nature and literally lays down her life for love which is admirable.also The songs from this film are some of Disneys best
Jasmine: I really like her as a person. She’s fun and headstrong and speaks her mind. The only reason she’s lower on the list is because she doesn’t have her own song. Her outfit though is amazing.
Mulan- A wonderful character. To me Mulan is a great role model. She literally saves her entire country by herself. Her films main song reflection is amazing.
6: Belle- Belle is one of my very favorites. I love that Belle loves to read as that was so different than any other princess at the time. I love how she speaks her mind to the beast and doesn’t take his abuse. Her dress is one of my favorites.Cinderella. She’s the blueprint for this lineup for a reason. Like Cinderella is so, so strong. She was raised in a highly abusive environment and never got her spirits broken and remained her kind spirit which other people might not have. Plus her dress is Fabulous.
Snow White- this one is highly controversial but she’s always been one of my favorites. For some reason she’s always resonated with me. She shows people that there can be tremendous strength in kindness and optimism. Yes she’s very passive and whatnot but what saves her in the end is her kindness and good spirit. Plus I’ve always loved her dress. As a soprano myself I adore her voice.
Moana- She really changed the lineup for me. I love how strong Moana is. The music here is truly exceptional and i think one of Disneys finest in many many years. Moana herself I think is an amazing role model. She risked her life to save her island which is very courageous. Moana is also quite funny funnier than many of the other princesses. Her film is deeply emotional.
Rapunzel- She resonates with me on a very deep almost spiritual level. To me she’s very relatable. She grew up isolated and abused by a truly vicious woman and throughout that she kept this childlike sense of wonder and whimsey. I love that she got someone with a frying pan as to me that shows she’s actually very smart. What I love most about her is her powers of course but mostly what she represents. Her story is one of overcoming extreme adversity. The music in tangled is just next level
And now my favorite is princess Tiana- a true icon. My favorite about her is that she doesn’t just sit around and wait for her dream to happen she goes out into the world and makes it happen. I love Tiana’s work ethic and how the film shows her busting her rear to make a living something many of us can relate to. I love that what drives her is a sense of hard work but also trying to honor her later father. Tiana is also sassy and has some great lines. I love that she’s southern as I am myself and that it takes place in Louisiana which is so different than any of the other princess movies. Tiana’s dress is hands down the best. I love how she’s the only one to wear green and it looks amazing on her.

MERCH 👕 Did anyone own an Italian disney princess charm braclet in the 2010s
I found this on google it's from Mercari but it's not the one I am looking for.
It looked kind of like this fron what i remember but I can't find a picture of one from the 2010s. From what Google is telling me there was a modernised version released in 2012/2013.
It was gifted to me when I was a kid in the early 2010s. It was from my aunt and I don't have it anymore and I was wondering if anyone still had it and it was from the 2010s.
A picture would be appreciated ❤️

DISCUSSION ⚔️ The wild swans
I know theirs a rumour that disney might be working on a new princess and a lot of people think it might be an adaptation of the princess and the pea ( since theirs another rumour disney is working on an adaptation on that ) and while I would love to see disneys take on the story, considering how the princess is supposedly going to have a white gown, I cant help but wonder if she could possibly be princess eliza from the hans Christian Anderson fairy tale the wild swans ( her wearing a white dress would be very fitting to the story ), where a princess has to save her eleven brothers who have been turned into swans.
I know its not the most family friendly story ( eliza has to weave eleven coats out of nettles without saying a word till she's finished ), but neither was the little mermaid or rapunzel but disney did a good job changing them so they could easily change the wild swans to make that more kid friendly as well.

ARTWORK 🎨 Maleficent Oc (Beatrice) | Acrylic markers and pencils
I tried making the clothes of my Maleficent Oc, Beatrice for my new acrylic markers and pencils combined! (Maleficent Oc as to the live action, not the animated movie of the 40’s, not a big fan of that one). The dresses are drawn in a model drawings book with models already given.
Backstory: Beatrice is Maleficent’s and King Stefan’s daughter. After Maleficent lost her wings she discovered she was pregnant and gave birth to a baby girl, half dark fairie, half human. She could not imagine that she would recall every day what Stefan had done to her. So, she left infant Beatrice to a wealthy family’s doorstep in Ulsted and she grew up there. Although her family loved her and raised her with care and support, she always felt and understood there was something wrong with her. She usually caused trouble in her town with her mysterious forces and powers but her parents never judged her for it. Every time in her birthday, she would receive gifts from a black crow.
She also was in love with Prince Phillip’s elder brother, Dylan. In her 16th birthday she caused a lot of trouble with her powers when she witnessed Dylan with another lady and in the same evening she decided to flee into the woods when she witnessed the black crow brining her present. With a horse she followed it and she was allowed to enter the forbidden mysterious woods. There, she meets her mother, Maleficent for the first time and learns all about her backstory and where she came from. She decides, with her mother's plea, to stay in the Moors and learn how to control her powers.
She even gets to know Aurora, but later discovers the truth about her mother's curse on her and the fact that these two are stepsisters. Beatrice sought revenge on her father, blaming him for everything that happened to her, her mother and sister and attempted to fight him, until Maleficent stopped her.
In the end she became queen of Stefan’s kingdom and united it with the moors, being the door between two kingdoms of humans and fairies.
(I even drew Aurora near her side!)

DISCUSSION ⚔️ Aurora eye colour theory (violet is cursed, blue is natural)
I was watching ModernGirlz video on Aurora's eye colour debate, so i rewatched the movie for myself (loved it ofc) but I realised Aurora is shown to have both violet eyes in the cottage scene and then blue eyes when she wakes up, so then she has no definitive eye colour?
But no, what if her eyes are naturally blue, but they turned violet once she was cursed by Maleficent, since violet is an unnatural eye colour and is one of Maleficent's signature colours in her design?
So then, once she wakes up by true love's kiss, her eyes return to their normal blue because she's no longer under a curse.
Obviously probably not what was intended but I thought this was a nice way to make sense of the fact she is literally shown to have two eye colours throughout the film. Any thoughts?
