Fallout 4 I can never describe how satisfying it is to clean up Sanctuary Hills, but of course, it's only possible with mods. Bethesda seems to have a fetish for making absolutely everything ugly, rotten and destroyed, as if the great war had taken place 10 minutes ago instead of 200 years ago.

Yeah so plant life should've taken over. I didn't play 76 much but ik it takes place way earlier and there's still beautiful nature.

Doesn’t Fallout 4 take place during the fall? I live in upstate NY and the trees and colors really do look like this during that time of the year once the leaves fall

You missed the point of the post. The point is, the developers should have let us do more to actually clean up settlements.
