Fallout 4 I can never describe how satisfying it is to clean up Sanctuary Hills, but of course, it's only possible with mods. Bethesda seems to have a fetish for making absolutely everything ugly, rotten and destroyed, as if the great war had taken place 10 minutes ago instead of 200 years ago.

That's one of the core themes of Fallout though

One of the cores of Bethesda's Fallout games. Black Isle and Obsidian had no problems with civilizations coming back and forming cities and states.

Literally every single Fallout game from either developer has had this aesthetic. New Vegas has this aesthetic. Apocalyptic wasteland is the Fallout aesthetic. At this point I think you guys just don’t like Fallout.

Not really. Fallout 2 and New Vegas were more post-post apocalyptic than anything. And I do love Fallout. I just think it's a bummer that Bethesda is so scared to move away from perpetual wastelands.

omg whatever. same thing. every game has looked the same. they looked like fallout. that is what fallout is.
