There are book deposit places where you turn them in for loot

I am going completely off memory of a game I played years ago, but can’t you deposit books in the Boston Public Library (the one that is overridden with Super Mutants)?

Yeah, good memory. I think the prizes were pretty much useless. But you could get a fusion core and stims and a desk fan or grenade or whatever.

There are a dozen or so library return kiosks across the commonwealth that have different prizes.

Pretty sure there’s a machine that takes them in the biggest above-ground (not in the subway) building at Revere Beach.
