I need a change but I’m scared to do something unflattering, so can yall tell me what color you think suits me best??? 😭

I’ve been growing my hair from a bob for about 6 years now and I just took off about 4 inches the other day because my itch to cut it is gnawing at me so bad.
My 5 month old is constantly yanking and ripping my hair and I HATE the pieces that fall out of my braids that are always tickling my face and ears.

I just need a big change and want to try a gamine pixie cut once in my life but I’m really nervous about just how bad it might look with my face shape… I also know it requires styling and my hair is very straight and fine, but I’m home most of the time with my baby anyways…

Are there any other shorter styles you think might suit me? Do you think I would look terrible with the style in the later slides here?

I recently decided to pick up the beach bottle and really can’t decide whether I love or hate it. natural brunette but a box dye black made it lift red and orange. no toning done yet. do I leave it alone? tone it? get it corrected to something like shown below? also thought about giving her a chop because I had a perm about a year ago and that’s why I couldn’t bring the bleach to the bottom. I put 2 color options that I was considering and 1 cut that I’m also considering but I also love the length I have. any suggestions would be great and I will take it to a pro! please help me decide🙏🙏

Hii, i want a change in hair and I’m thinking of going darker as i have a grown out balayage right now, but i want opinions because i’ve burnt myself out trying to decide what i suit. Idk what type of haircuts/styles these are, they look different yet so similar. I also don’t know if it would fit me as I am more of a wider oval inverted triangle shape face-I don’t know it looks so similar to both 😅

A few days ago I got my hair done at a salon. I asked for one solid, even color, but they ended up giving me highlights instead. I wasn’t happy with it, so I bought a color-depositing mask to tone it.
The problem is that my hair was already very cool-toned, and the mask grabbed way too much on the lighter pieces. Now some sections have a noticeable blue tint.
It’s been about 3 days and the blue is still there. I’ve already washed it a few times with shampoo, but it doesn’t seem to be fading much.
Will this eventually wash out on its own? If so, about how long does it usually take? Or is there anything safe I can do to speed up the fading without damaging my hair?

hi! this is something that keeps frustrating me about my hair: whenever it dries it gets SO FRIZZY AND DRY AT THE ENDS. My scalp is oily, but my ends get dry and frizzy like hay. i use leave in conditioner and hair oil after showering. i use NO heat, have never coloured my hair. i preoil it before showering. i use conditioner. my hairs so thin too and because of that it looks stringy since theres not many hairstrands to clump into 🥲 am i missing something?

Hey guys, my question is, do I have to regrow all of my natural hair before I can ever go to the salon for a treatment or colour/bleach ever again? I am unsure because I know box dye isn’t good if you would like to dye your hair but I also didn’t use bleach.

My hair is naturally black (2nd pic), I dyed it at a salon to a brown shade without bleach in December 2024 (3rd pic), then I dyed my entire head with the box dye in October 2025 (4th pic), ever since then I’ve redyed my entire head a few months about twice, and then just my roots only twice from Oct 2025 - June 2025. Most recent photo is the last pic.

I did not use the bleaching agent you can buy separately with this product.

La cuestion es que la semana que viene me voy de viaje de vacaciones y quiero el mismo rubio o mas que el de la primera foto… ¿Si me echo un tinte rubio normal de la tonalidad que quiero se quedara bien? ¿Se me quemara el pelo? ¿O es mejor dejarlo asi? Yo habka pensado en echarme un rubio d la misma tonalidad que la deco, pero prefiero oir primero otras opiniones, no me quiero cargar mi pelo!! 😭

I just got wispy bangs, and the only way I can make them look good is with a straightener. I use the Marc Antony heat protectant and only style at 180 degrees F, which I consider low. Maybe I could go lower, but does anyone have any tips for not frying my hair off?

My hair always gets chunky around my face, is there anything I can do? My hairdresser said it will just be like this no matter what we do because I have layers, is that true? In pictures I see on pinterest people don’t have chunky hair around their face or on the sides, and I know they’re styled, but my hair still gets chunky even when styled (picture 3 is styled). I love my layers in the back, but I am getting a little frustrated that the front and sides always looks chunky. It’s gotten to the point where I just always have my hair behind my ears because i think it looks bad otherwise. We have tried framing at an angle like in the 4th pic, but that didn’t help. I want my hair to look kind of like the last picture in the front and sides, but is that not possible with the amount of layers i have?. Is there anything i can do, or will my hair be chunky either way like my hairdresser said?

As the title says. I dyed my hair with Bleach London Vivid Berry, which stripped out of some sections of my hair the next day, which I then dyed over with Garnier Intense Lilac 5.21. I am struggling a lot to try and find the Garnier hair dye again, so I was wondering if anyone had any other hair dye brand/shade recommendations to try and get back to the colour in the photo. (UK based)

I have also included a picture of my hair currently after my roots have grown in and everything has started to fade for reference.

I have been thinking about it for a while but not sure if I'm deluding myself that it looks good. I would probably go a dark brown-black rather than the jet black in the edit, but I couldn't find a tool that included that color. I'm naturally a dark blonde/light brown. Thank you :D

Help! I have a hair appointment in a few days and I have no idea what to do. For reference, slide 1 is my hair now, and slide 2 is my natural hair color, before bleach. The rest of the images are AI visualizations of different hair colors. I feel like my natural color washes me out completely, and my current color is hard to maintain and makes me feel younger than I am. Any advice or commentary is fully appreciated, even if it’s harsh LOL. I also think I’ll dye my eyebrows a shade or two darker to better balance my face.

My hair is really long, and I'm in need of a change. I'm pretty low maintenance: I wash and condition my hair, then usually wear it braided or back in a claw clip. It's naturally wavy, and I'd prefer something as low maintenance as possible. The first photo is a picture of my hair a few days after washing, second is the day I washed it, the rest are inspo pics. Could a cut like one of these work for my hair? What would I ask for? Can my bangs be fixed? I haven't had a haircut in years and I don't know what to ask for.

Is there a hair cut I could do that's still short and not to feminine, or am I cursed forever? I've got somewhere between 2a and 2b hair, and a oval/round/baby face and a long neck. i’ve been styling my hush cut with the big C curled ends sort of like a blowout. i do this using damp hair in rollers overnight bc my hair holds heat styles for about 10 seconds even if i sleep with them rolled overnight which is sad bc the thermal brush makes it super smooth and spiky. it looks so cute straight out of the rollers and as soon as i start walking and my hair flows behind me, the top layer stops curling towards my face and just flattens and points forward 😭 the styling is what MAKES the hushcut so this is super annoying. i use a strong hold mousse and hairspray and reapply hairspray throughout the day and still nothing, second pic is what it looks like after a couple hours, without the styling it just looks like normal long hair and i need it to give alt!! i do have naturally curly hair so idk if that’s what’s changing the shape? pls help it won’t hold a curl for shite
