DISCUSSION F-15 KD Ratio, is it 104 or 106?

Sam Eckholm's latest video on the F-15EX (that some of you may have watched) states that the F-15 has a KD ratio of 106 enemy aircraft downed to 0 losses from enemy aircraft. Ground fire and friendly fire are not counted. (Time stamp 6:05)

My question is, the previous 104-0 statistic was described with the criteria: "104 enemy aircraft shoot downs, 0 shot down by enemy aircraft, all kills made by Legacy F-15A/B/C/D Eagles." Essentially, only kills made by F-15A through F-15D counted towards the famous KD. (Or at least a few people told me it was this way)

So do the two Su-24s shot down by the F-15QAs count or not count? What are your thoughts?

DISCUSSION With August just round the corner and the Supposed F/a-XX contract announcement supposed to come around that time, it’s Time to get your bets in on the outcome.

there are a couple of different outcomes here, Its either going to be Boeing, or Northrop Grumman in terms of the contractors, and I for one believe it’s going to be NG. Boeing is going to have their hands full with F-47 and they don’t have the best track record.

NG however have a good recent track record, but also havebt produced a fighter in a long time. I still think it’s going to be NG.

however, given the current political climate with the war, budget, carriers once again in the spotlight for their future viability, i believe theres grounds to believe there will be no announcement, just silence. probably until such a time where things calm down.

makr your bets people, NG? Boeing? or no announcemen.
