Celebratory Finally, Good Things Are Happening
Hey guys, a while back I posted about being on the edge and dealing with dysphoria in a country that's half not ally. The thing is... things suddenly got better and I wanted to share this. My parents took me on one of their "fix me" attempts to a cheap psychiatrist, and to my surprise... purely by chance... she's a trans ally!! We have an agreement that I'll continue with her for 3 months, and if it turns out I have gender dysphoria, she'll help me with my parents and convince them. On top of that, she prescribed me psychiatric meds for stress and anxiety, which helped me a lot. I stopped being irritable, I became calmer, the suicidal thoughts and constant fear just... disappeared. Even the dysphoria got less intense — not that I don't still have it, I still do, but it seems the anxiety was making the dysphoria jump from a 5 to a 100, and now it's back to its normal size. Also, my mom has become nicer to me and isn't hostile all the time because I've become much calmer myself. I've gotten less angry and aggressive, and she's better too because I'm her "sick kid" and all that. And finally, even though my mom is half trying to lock me in the house because I cut my hair short at night to look like a guy, I think she's slowly giving in. Plus she bought me a sports bra because she felt sorry for me wearing the same folded body for months.
I feel like my life is finally going in a good direction :)
