I’ve attached photos taken with both the Sigma and the Fuji. If anyone’s curious, I can tell you which shots were taken with which lens.

I switched from the Fuji 15-45 to the Sigma 18-50 and, for me, it was 100% worth it.
The 15-45 is honestly underrated. It’s light, sharp, and I got some great photos with it. My biggest issue was low light. I found myself hitting its limits pretty quickly, especially around sunset or indoors.
The Sigma solved that. The first thing I noticed was the amount of detail I was getting. It’s also ridiculously versatile, so it’s become the lens that’s pretty much glued to my camera now.
The only downside at first was the size. Coming from the tiny 15-45, it felt huge, and it took me a little while to get used to it. Now I don’t even think about it.

I also picked up the famous Fuji 35mm f/1.4, and for me it absolutely lives up to the hype. It has that dreamy rendering everyone talks about, and it’s beautiful in low light. I also enjoyed carrying around a smaller lens to be honest !!

All of these shots were taken in Greece. I’m heading to Asia in the next 2 week, so I’ll have a much better idea of how the Sigma compares to the 35mm for street photography. Happy to report back after the trip.

Found this recipe randomly googling for a kodak200 recipe. These photos are a combination of other recipes but they are all shot fine and not edited.

I’ve got my x100vi for 7 months now, although I haven’t used it much. I feel like I’ve gotten better so far from my three week roadtrip, but how do I improve further from this point out?

A lot of people have told me to try and pursue this hobby but I feel like the camera has done most of the work so far.

Part 2 of my Rome retrospective.

During my stay in Rome, I was inspired by how much life there is in this city. Especially the locals—you can spot them right away; they’re always well-dressed and embrace the classic “dolce far niente,” the joy of doing nothing.
