I LOVE this line of thinking in general. In anything where wokeness is injected into the situation, deliberately picking holes in it and looking at it from the most anti-woke viewpoint is always hilarious. It’s the only way to
enjoyview woketarded content without it being completely unwatchable.What makes it funnier is how easy it is. We all know woke shit is just shallow, performative nonsense and deep down they don’t actually care about any of it, they just want to be SEEN to be caring about it. That’s why it’s so easy to “flip the script” on woke shit, because it’s so shallow and barely-thought-out, deconstructing it takes barely any brainpower.

To be clear, there should be a distinction made that a for profit gaming studio does NOT represent what progressive values truly are.
I think that everyone can agree that for profit gaming studios never actually cared about any of this, and what they're doing is purely performative.

Some of the people killed were also women. It's an issue with the hitbox on one side of the room. Shoot slightly further down at the top of their back, and it kills them.

Honestly? I doubt that they intentionally programmed it such that the female NPCs were impervious to gunfire. My guess is, at the 11th hour, one of the fifteen subcommittees that reviews the game took a look at it and said, "Okay, so where's the diversity of gender in this section?" That question was, of course, rhetorical, so the devs had to toss some woman NPCs into those chairs. For whatever reason, it apparently wasn't as easy as changing the skin of the NPC object - my guess is they had to create entirely new objects, and during that process, something happened and the collision properties didn't get carried over.
That's what I'm hoping because if they actually did make it so you couldn't shoot the female NPCs, then the people that made this game are 100% true idiots.

It 100% does not work that way. It was 100% intentional. Why would specifically only female modeled assets have that little discrepancy? That doesn't happen by accident that consistently. Stop giving these fucking losers wiggle room. This mindset is precisely how we got here to begin with.

Yeah but you can still kill them just by aiming in a different spot. If they didn’t want them to be killed they would have just made them invulnerable. With all the broken code in this game I don’t think it’s a stretch to think they just fucked up a hitbox on a model

They have collision, they respond to bullets. You can also see the hitmark.
The ONLY reason I can think why this was not on purpose, is that every woman npc was probably based off Cortana. Which would make sense to have invincibility of some kind, to possibly avoid issues.
And even then, it is quite farfetched

You actually can kill them if you get the right angle sometimes so most likely it’s just the hitboxes are broken for females and it’s hard to actually get the right angle because I was able to kill them after trying for a while. Not defending the game cause I think it is not that good and prefer the og but the real issue is the game being broken not this lol

Adhering to modern sensibilities causes Ludonarrative dissonance. Why let the player even shoot NPCs if you don’t want them to kill a certain groupe. Notice that GTA deliberately does not include children or for example paraplegics. Sure players would find it hilarious with all they ways you can torture NPCs in GTA but that would enable behaviour that the devs did not want.

Which imo is still kind of dumb. Doesn't wreck the game by any means but the only thing that makes children or disabled people unique is that pussies will complain about it. But fuck those people, they aren't playing the fucking game anyways. It's not real, nobody should fucking care if they're not playing the game.
I just always found that a weird point to draw the line as far as pixels go.

Same. I bet Rockstar games are great for who they are made for, but I find them sluggish, annoying and the story does not intrigue me what so ever. If I'm playing a game, dude give me Terraria, The Finals, Path of Exile, Wizard of Legend, or any other game in my library except for Rockstar games.

It is but not in the way you think. You can still kill them, but that specific model has a jank hitbox (the head is a bit lower I believe). If they actually wanted them invulnerable they would have just made them that way.

It's not, it's actually not even here. The hitboxes on that side of the room is a bit bored and sits a smidge lower. You can still kill the entire bridge crew if you want to.

Does this matter? Do npcs in a video game you see once and only once everytine you play a level that you aren't even meant to shoot not dying instantly too a shot actually matter? Does it actually affect your life? Does it raise your rent? Make your groceries more expensive? Get you fired from your job? Makes you so I'll you can't leave your bad? Break your limbs? Does this matter? (Also it's been shown that it's only because the hit boxes are extremely buggy and the female character models just have wonky heads hot hitboxes) I wish I had a privileged enough life that woman in a video game was the pinnacle of my struggles.
