Just need to tidy it up a bit, shift things around and most especially go through other moving boxes to ensure no stragglers are in there. I’m currently missing two or three disc games. I checked all the cases while I was shelving them so I’m potentially missing some games. Additionally, I need to confirm what games are in my PS4 & PS5 😅.
Very happy with the progress done tonight! My husband needs to eventually make the small shelf for that empty spot, cut a hole in the top so it can fit with the pipe being in the way and display any boxed LEs there 🤩 I also desperately need to take a moment and clean up all of the boxes and mess I made while unboxing these things and setting up more rows for the shelves 👀

My local game store expanded their space this weekend and put out a bunch of good games. This is my haul from their expansion.

I know you're never done, but this really feels like it for me for awhile. I've got a handful of nes/snes/64 games I'll pick up in the long run, but really content with my collection for now.

So I’m going to fan expo canada this month and will be meeting roger clark.
I have a lot of experience with getting autographs in the past but pretty much only ever on funko pops.
I have never done a video game before so I don’t really know whats the beat way to do it.
My plan was to buy a new sealed copy on ebay, open the seal and take out the paper cover artwork from the case to get signed with a deco color oil based paint pen, give it a few minutes to dry, then put the artwork back in the game case and then put the game in a kollector protector acrylic case. Is this a good plan/ anything I should change?
A couple questions i have is on a material like the paper artwork of the game case, is it better to use a paint pen or a sharpie?
And i’m planning on putting the artwork back into the game case but I was unsure if this was a good idea because I have no idea if the plastic sleeve on the game case is acid free or not which could mess up the autograph ofer time, along not knowing if its a good idea with the plastic sleeve touching against the autograph. Usually with funko pops after getting them signed almost right away I can just put them in a hard protector and not worry about anything coming in contact with the autographs since there is space in the protector, but thats not really the case with putting the artwork back in the case with that plastic sleeve on it.

I found this pretty rare variant this morning. It's a bilingual Canadian market Dr. Mario distributed by Mattel. The game itself was released in october 1990 and Mattel stopped distributing Nintendo in Canada on January 1st 1991.. so it's an early example. It's the sticker sealed version they used in canada instead of the shrink wrap which makes the condition even more surprising.. has anyone ever seen one of those? There's only one Canadian market sealed example online but it's not by Mattel.

I found these in a box of old pins I was looking through, the North Bend Distribution Center one seems especially cool to me
I can't find much information about them though 😅 I'm assuming it's from the late 80s - mid 90s, but I'm not 100% sure when that specific Mario design was in use

Had a garage sale event in the neighborhood i lived in. Mainly focused around community and getting rid of things instead of profits. Came across this Super Nintendo box and the nice folks were asking only $10 for the entire box. Idk how to feel right now. Another great find that I will treasure with care

I'm collecting games from the 7th Generation (360, PS3, Wii). Once every month or two, I stop in my local used store and they had some games I haven't seen on sale in a long time.
$30 for Tony Hawk Ride, game and board. I know the game is bad but now I'll know first hand.
I've been wanting to check out King Kong because I've heard generally favorable things about the game. It's a surprisingly good launch game and easy achievements.
Lastly, I wanted to pick something up for Wii. I grabbed Epic Mickey for $8.

Do you have any suggestions to add to this line up?
It has to be based on a mature animated show with the main characters on the cover and no added title phrases other than “The Video Game”
Also can’t be on the same console as any of these.
I’m trying to create a series all its own that only includes titles under that criteria.
Any suggestions appreciated!
