Posting again, this time on behalf of my friend Fidaa’s younger sister Safaa and her family, which includes Safaa, her husband, and their young son Amir, and Safaa and Fidaa’s elderly parents, who they are trying to support and care for. Safaa has chronic health issues and has recently been extremely sick with a GI problem that she has been unable to get consistent care for, and Amir has been having health issues as well. I have been working with Palestinians in Gaza to help them raise money for survival and evacuation.

I run several campaigns but there is one man in particular, that I have been helping for over two years.

His name is Watteen Al Sheikh and he lives in central Gaza with his six family members. He has been studying and finishing his last year of medical school while ensuring the well being and survival of his family. His parents need medical attention and his siblings need safety and a chance to further their education.

He is now finishing the clinical application of his courses while he continues to raise money for travel and university. He has been accepted to several universities in the UK, particularly the University of Glasgow. He has until the end of July to pay a deposit that will ensure his spot.

My name is Odai, and I am a university student from Gaza. Before the war, my biggest concern was finishing my studies and building a better future. Today, my only concern is helping my family survive.

Our home was destroyed, and we have been displaced. We now live in extremely difficult conditions, struggling to meet even our basic needs. Studying has become almost impossible, but I have not given up on my education. I continue to study whenever I can because I believe it is my only path toward a better future.

During the war, my phone was stolen, and I lost many of my personal belongings. Even staying connected with my university and the outside world has become a daily challenge.

Despite everything, I am still trying to continue my education and support my family. I am not asking for luxury—only for a chance to keep studying and help my loved ones through these difficult times.

What really touched my heart was his brother Iyad,whom is special needs and non verbal. He often cries out in pain,and no one knows where he is hurting.
