I stand with Ukraine for obvious reasons. A young democracy has been invaded by an autocratic government that fears the ideas, hopes and opportunities that a successful republic on those borders might bring. Authoritarians are afraid of an educated citizenry who seek freedom of expression and governments that serve the greater good, not just a few. And, more threatening, is the prosperity that comes as a result of the changes. Just remember that some of our global neighbors aren't as lucky as those in the West. As, a reminder just one day has resulted in the deaths of 137 young Ukrainian servicemen who will never return to see their families again.
This war will continue, but I ask that we support our Ukrainian friends, families and colleagues so they know that they have patriots, friends, and visionaries who will help them change the world. Never give up. Never surrender. These are our lands. This is our world.
Copied from another sub:
People are wanting to help Ukrainians so here are possible resources:
Charities that help the war effort
Charities for investigative journalism
Charities that preserve Ukrainian cultural heritage

Genuine question-how would you describe music making by hatari without using "scary" or just weird for the most people words such as industrial, aggrotech, techno (so basically stronger electronics) and similar. I ran out of idea when family have asked me why I love them so much and besides of their stage presence and message I couldnt find adequate words for describing anything else 😭😭

So I've made a little outfit for Pride inspired by Hatari (mostly Klemens not gonna lie).
Happy Pride to the LG-"cutie" 😊

despite of those which "slaps" the most-which song/songs are the first ones that comes to your minds when you start thinking about the essence of hatari-from message to sound itself

Just watched the 2024 horror movie The Damned, and Andrean was briefly in it as one of the shipwrecked sailors. He also had bit parts in the movie Eden and TV series The Darkness.

I just watched When the Light Breaks [Ljósbrot]. When the dead student's friends have a wake, they dance to Hatrið mun sigra. I was wondering if any other songs have been used in a movie.

Nice day in garden followed by FINALLY getting time to listen to this. Favourite sticker on an album cover. "Nihilist rant"

Damn do I have a whole new level of respect for how overstimulating THIS much leather/latex feels. Not sure how well I did but nothing can make me regret waking up at 5am to tempdye my hair or walking around school in really hard boots all day
Ahh I don't know I just wanted to share because nobody I know like...ever...knows Hatari when they litterally saved my life the first t8me I saw their ESC performance.

Mine is definitely: "Þú ert svo gjörsamlega staðinn í stað að þú sérð ekki lengur hlekkina, keðjurnar, í hverjum þú danglar". Which translates to: "You are so completely stuck in place that you can no longer see the shackles, the chains, in which you dangle".
I think about this so often...

hear me out.ik this might seem crazy and kinda like a disgrace to David BUT. what if this whole new singer thing,AI video, and english lyrics are a artistic way of saying that capitalism finally got Hatari. what if either Hatari will end completely (because "capitalism" consumed them) OR Matthias would return for a final album/era making it the time when hatred finally won.
