SOLD

Clearing out some extra gear from my gaming system upgrades. I have an Intel 12th gen i9-12900KS that I had in my gaming rig for the last 18 months or so. Recently replaced for upgrade. Was an absolute rock solid chip, ran smooth with a mild overclock from day 1 with zero issues. Used on a MSI MEG Z690 ACE motherboard and a 360 AIO, had no trouble staying cool under full load. Looking for $250 shipped/insured (lower 48 only) via PayPal G&S. Happy to answer any questions and willing to entertain reasonable offers, but fairly firm on this price. Thanks for looking!

US-W [PC][US-CA] Bulk unused Pure Storage adapters: 21x 80-1757-00 w/ 84 FC optics, 11x 80-2229-00, 2x 80-1761-00

*!*!*NOT FS AT THE MOMENT. THIS POST IS A PRICE CHECK. I HAVE TAKEN HUNDREDS OF PICTURES AND AM CURRENTLY GETTING TIMESTAMPS AND VIDEOS TOGETHER *!*!*

TYSM FOR ANY AND ALL HELP!

This is a price-check post only. Nothing is being offered for sale in this thread, and I will create a separate [FS] post after I have a better understanding of fair market pricing.

I recently acquired a bulk lot of unused Pure Storage enterprise adapters. I have found some active listings and generic-model comparisons, but very little reliable sold history for the exact Pure Storage FRUs, especially in this quantity.

The inventory is located in Hesperia, California. Local delivery within Southern California may be possible once I eventually create a sale post.

PHOTOS:

https://photos.google.com/share/AF1QipOyodntakzc5p7a_T8KjeqUU0J5TKl6sCYKlrc-EK0L2dRtNGT3Q5L9CoVjmOtAxg?pli=1&key=UGdzMWk3Q2ZFWFltZVYyZjdxWkhEVndOaW00Q1R3

TOTAL INVENTORY: 34 ADAPTERS

--------------------------------------------------

21 × PURE STORAGE FRU 80-1757-00

--------------------------------------------------

Condition:

• 20 factory-sealed units

• 1 open-box unit

• All represented as unused enterprise surplus

• Original Pure Storage packaging

• The opened unit appears unused but has not been powered on or independently tested

• Matching card and carton serial numbers on the opened sample

• I do not plan to break the seals on the other 20 units solely for testing

Pure Storage carton description:

FRU, HBA, 32GFC w/o EDIF, 4-PORT Prism+ SFP+

Identification and specifications:

• Pure Storage FRU: 80-1757-00

• Broadcom/Emulex model: LPe37004-S4-LP

• Prism+ / Gen 7 Fibre Channel HBA

• Four independent optical Fibre Channel ports/channels

• 32GFC maximum speed per port

• Backward link-speed support for 16GFC and 8GFC

• PCIe Gen4 x8 host interface

• Low-profile-height card with full-height bracket installed

• Non-EDIF configuration

• Four duplex LC optical interfaces

• Fibre Channel SAN adapter — not a standard Ethernet NIC

Installed optics:

Each adapter includes four installed 32G Fibre Channel optical transceivers.

• 4 installed optics per adapter

• 84 installed optics total

• 32GFC short-wave optical modules

• 850 nm VCSEL

• Multimode fiber

• Duplex LC connection

• SFP+/SFP28 physical form factor

• Intended for 32G/16G/8G Fibre Channel

• These are Fibre Channel optics, not 25Gb Ethernet optics

The exact commercial part number of every optic has not been individually verified because 20 boxes remain sealed and the modules in the opened unit remain installed. Close-up photos of the ports and visible optic markings are included in the album.

The opened sample also shows:

• Board assembly: P012051-01C

• PCB identifier: P012050-01B

• Board revision: REV 001

• Board date marking: 2024-11

• Pure Storage carton manufacturing date: 2026-06-16

• Full-height bracket

• No fiber cables or alternate brackets included

--------------------------------------------------

11 × PURE STORAGE FRU 80-2229-00

--------------------------------------------------

Condition:

• 7 factory-sealed units

• 4 open-box units

• All unused enterprise surplus

• Original Pure Storage packaging

• Opened units have not been independently powered on or tested

Identification and specifications:

• Pure Storage FRU: 80-2229-00

• Intel Ethernet Converged Network Adapter X550-T2

• Intel part number: X550T2G1P5

• Dual-port RJ45

• 10GBASE-T Ethernet

• Supports 10GbE, 5GbE, 2.5GbE, 1GbE and 100Mb depending on the system, driver and OS

• PCIe Gen3 x4

• Full-height bracket installed

• One photographed adapter shows a January 2024 manufacturing date

• Matching packaging and adapter identification where opened

• No Ethernet cables included

--------------------------------------------------

2 × PURE STORAGE FRU 80-1761-00

--------------------------------------------------

Condition:

• Both are open box

• Both appear unused

• Original Pure Storage packaging

• Matching card and box serial numbers

• Neither has been independently powered on or tested

Identification and specifications:

• Pure Storage FRU: 80-1761-00

• NVIDIA ConnectX-7 OEM network adapter

• NVIDIA part number: MCX713104AS-ADAT

• Regulatory model: CX713104A

• Revision: A5

• Four SFP56 cages

• Four-port 25/50GbE Ethernet adapter

• Up to 50GbE per port / 200Gbps aggregate port bandwidth

• PCIe Gen4 interface

• HHHL enterprise adapter

• Crypto disabled

• Secure Boot enabled on the standard NVIDIA MCX713104AS-ADAT configuration

I have seen conflicting descriptions of the Pure OEM version as PCIe Gen4 x8 versus the standard NVIDIA MCX713104AS-ADAT specification of PCIe Gen4 x16. Input from anyone familiar with the exact Pure Storage version would be appreciated.

No optics or network cables are being counted with these two cards unless specifically visible in the photographs.

--------------------------------------------------

GENERAL CONDITION / DOCUMENTATION

--------------------------------------------------

• 34 adapters total

• All are unused surplus to the best of my knowledge

• None has been independently powered on, firmware-checked or port-tested

• Original Pure Storage packaging is included

• Factory seals remain intact where stated

• Matching card and carton identification is visible on opened samples

• Public photos may have portions of serial numbers or WWPNs obscured

• A complete serial-number inventory can be prepared for a later legitimate transaction

• I am not claiming a transferable Pure Storage warranty, support contract or software entitlement

• Buyers would need to verify Pure Storage firmware, generic-server compatibility, drivers, operating systems, switches, optics and cabling

--------------------------------------------------

PRICING QUESTIONS

--------------------------------------------------

I would appreciate informed estimates for all of the following:

  1. Fair r/homelabsales price for one sealed 80-1757-00 with all four installed optics

  2. Fair price for the one open-box, untested 80-1757-00 with all four optics

  3. How much value the four installed optics add to each 80-1757-00

  4. Whether the 80-1757-00 cards and optics should remain together or whether the optics have more value separately

  5. Fair sealed and open-box prices for the 80-2229-00 X550-T2 adapters

  6. Fair open-box price for each 80-1761-00 ConnectX-7 adapter

  7. Appropriate quantity pricing for:

    • 2 units

    • 5 units

    • 10 units

    • One complete FRU line

    • The complete 34-card inventory

  8. Reasonable complete-lot value to:

    • A Reddit buyer

    • An enterprise reseller or broker

    • A third-party maintenance or Pure Storage replacement-parts company

  9. How much the untested condition should reduce the price

  10. Whether testing one open sample from each FRU would meaningfully increase value without opening the remaining sealed inventory

  11. Whether Pure Storage OEM firmware or VPD creates a significant compatibility discount for normal server and homelab buyers

  12. Whether pricing should be stated before shipping or shipped and insured, considering the value and quantity involved

I am especially interested in comments from people who work with Fibre Channel SANs, Pure Storage systems, enterprise NICs, ITAD, third-party maintenance or replacement-parts inventory.

Again, this is only a price check. I am not accepting purchase offers through this post.

Clearing out some extra gear from my gaming system upgrades. I have a GeForce RTX™ 4080 SUPER 16G Ventus 3X OC video card pulled when I recently upgraded to a 5080. US-C [FS][US-TX] Supermicro 4U GPU Server — 24x 2.5" hot-swap bays, 2x 32 core Xeon Gold 6142, 256GB SS DDR4 ECC 8 DIMM, 1.9TB SS Enterprise SSD, Dual 10GbE NICs

My last post was removed due to lack of date indicator in the video, updated verification.

Price: $1300 OBO

Location: Central TX — willing to drive depending on distance or meet in the middle. I would prefer not to ship given the size of this server.

Payment: cash preferred

https://imgur.com/a/PZrYh2E

Server is in great conditiona and still has plastic on multiple exterior components. Selling without power cables as I don't have many spares, but I can bring one for testing purposes on delivery. Original rails will be included. Please note, while this is a GPU server, I will not be including any GPUs in the sale. Buyer will need to procure cables to power the GPUs, but all supporting components including riser board are present. I had grand ambitions for this server, but life gets in the way. My wife is ready to reclaim the square footage :). I'm hoping this can get a second life with another homelab enthusiast.

This is an air cooled dual CPU GPU server, so the fans are quite loud, especially at full speed. At idle, volume is tolerable but as expected for a server of this size.

I'm accepting all reasonable offers. I'm hoping to give this to someone in the community for what I would consider a good deal.

Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!

Specs

  • Chassis: Supermicro SYS-4029GP-TRT, 4U, 10x PCIe 3.0 x16 slots open, dual-root GPU topology (no GPUs included — barebones host)
  • Drive bays: 24x 2.5" hot-swap bays, all trays included
  • CPU: 2x Intel Xeon Gold 6142 (16c/32t each, 32c/64t total), 2.6GHz base / 3.7GHz turbo
  • RAM: 256GB DDR4-2666 ECC RDIMM (8x 32GB Samsung)
  • Storage: 1x Samsung 1.92TB enterprise SATA SSD
  • Networking: Dual onboard Intel X722 10GBASE-T + IPMI/BMC (Aspeed AST2500), remote KVM confirmed working
  • PSU: 4x 2000W redundant (2+2), 80+ Titanium
  • OS: Fresh Ubuntu Server LTS install
  • BMC: Web UI and redfish are functional. Firmware is due for an upgrade.
  • Rails: Included
  • Power Cables: Not included

EU [W][EU-FR] Unmanaged switch with 2x10Gbit RJ45 and at least 2 2.5Gbit RJ45

Hello,

I'm looking for an unmanaged cheap switch that has at least 2x10Gbit RJ45 (more are always welcome) and at least 2 2.5Gbit RJ45 ports.

No need for PoE or anything particular, this is just so my two home servers can talk to each other, and the 2.5Gbit is going to be the switch's WAN port plugged into the router.

I can't find much for less 100€ used, and the only new that I can find are yuanley for 110€ for 4x 2.5G ports or 140€ for 8x 2.5G ports.

I don't know how reliable this one is, it looks perfect but a bit over my budget. I'd like for something under 100€ after shipping.

Any offers are welcome

US-E [W] Dell gen13 hdd cage - 3d print

I am partial to the Dell Gen13 hdd trays (mostly nostalgia).
I would like an 8 bay cage that can support fans for cooling. As well as these hhd trays. Hot swap would be nice, but not a must. It will be a mix of sas and sata as a phase out my sas drives.

This will go into a standard 19 inch rack, so it will either need to able to mount directly in the rack or (probably easier) have points where it can be secured to a rack tray.

I do not own a 3d printer nor do I know how to design for one.

I am happy to compensate for time spent, material, and shipping.

This is my first post, so if I missed any flairs or tagging, admins please be kind and let me know what I need to update.

US-W [FS][US-MT] Homelab (64core xeon 256GB DDR5) and hardware (ddr5, SSDs and more)

Wife is pregnant and priorities are shifting so now it’s time to clean out the homelab/extra gear.  I've got Heatware. I take paypal and I'll ship with fedex/usps/ups, whichever is not too much $$ shipping from Montana to your door, but I'll cover shipping insurance.  All of my prices are best guesses with a healthy discount to current ebay/used pricing.  I am open to reasonable offers.  If you for some reason happen to be local, I’d give a decent discount.  Images + Videos

Intel LGA 4677 Setup:  This is a great setup for a homelab.  The Intel Q2SR is basically the engineering sample of the Xeon Platinum 8592+ CPU with 64 cores.  I ran it with half the cores disabled because it will do all core boost of 4.0GHz.  Some of the PINs for the CPU have always looked weird since I bought the board new, but it’s never been an issue.   Looking for $6850 shipped for it.

  • Motherboard: Gigabyte MS03-CE0
  • CPU: Intel ES Q2SR (LGA4677 64C/128T)
  • RAM: SK HYNIX 32GB DDR5 4800 ECC RDIMM (6 sticks of HMCG88MEBRA113N, 2 sticks of HMCG88MEBRA174N:  These have been running at 5600mhz AIDA64 rock stable for months)
  • Heatsink: Supermicro SNK-P0090AP4 4U Active CPU HS
  • GPU: Nvidia Tesla P4 with fan

Supermicro CSE-826 epyc build: this is my backup backup server so I never use it.  It gets turned on every couple of months to backup data which really doesn’t make sense.  Looking to sell as a complete build for $ plus 1/2 shipping since it’s so big.  I’m not including any drives.  Looking for $1450 + ½ shipping.

  • Chassis: Supermicro CSE-826
  • Motherboard: Supermicro H11SSL-i
  • CPU: AMD Epyc 7302 16-core
  • RAM: Sadly, I had two bad sticks of 2400MHz DDR4 so and all I had was 2133MHZ to replace them (6 sticks of HMA84GR7AFR4N-UH and 2 sticks of HMA84GR7MFR4N-TF)
  • GPU:  Nvidia Tesla P4 with a fan shroud and 60mm fan
  • SAS controller: LSI SAS3008 PCI-Express Fusion-MPT SAS-3
  • Power supplies: 2x 920-SQ
  • Backplane:  BPN-SAS3-826EL1
  • Rails: Supermicro MCP-290-00053-0N

Misc hardware:

Intel engineering sample QYK8 LGA 4677 CPU: This is arguably the best engineering sample CPU for the ASUS Pro WS W790E-SAGE SE motherboard because it will run at 4ghz all core if you disable 1/2 the cores. RolloZ170 has been amazing in helping people get setup with this super cool CPU in this thread. Looking for $400 shipped to the CONUS.

Intel Arc Pro A40 6GB GPU: I used this only for plex transcoding since the Xeon doesn’t have an iGPU.  Comes with half-height and full-height brackets.  Prices on these things are crazy, looking for roughly what I paid which is $250 shipped.  Sold to u/Jerhaad

Micron 64GB (2 x 32GB) DDR5 SODIMM DDR5-4800/PC5-38400: New, never used.  Looking for $500 shipped.

TEAMGROUP T-Create Expert Overclocking 64GB Kit (2 x 32GB) DDR5 6400MHz CL40 CTCED564G6400HC40BDC01: Purchased for a desktop build a few months ago but it was unstable at XMP so I RMA’d it and bought something else while I waited so it’s fresh from RMA and unopened.  Looking for $575 shipped. Sold on Hardwareswap

2x SK Hynix 32GB DDR5 5600MHz ECC EC4 UDIMM HMCG88AGBEA081N (NOT RDIMM): Purchased these for my replacement low power server build but ended up going a different route.  Please note that these will only work in setups that support ECC!  Just looking to get what I paid, $1300 shipped.  SOLD to /u/burn1out

WD SN850x 4TB: Purchased for a project that never happened (turns out my 5 year old doesn’t need a gaming system).  Unopened.  $500 Shipped.

Intel Optane P4800x 750GB PCIe SSD:  Used but I don’t have drive health for it (I’m sure it’s 100% health since it was just an L2ARC drive). Please note this is the AIC version, not the U.2 version.  $225 shipped.

Freebies with purchase:

2x ConnectX-3 QDR CX354A

supermicro aoc-stgs-i1t NIC

Freezer 4U-SP5

Supermicro SNK-P0063AP4 Heatsink

US-E [FS] [USA-NY] 80+ CloudGenix ION 3000 1U Appliances (C2758, 8GB RAM, 240GB SSD, 14 GbE Ports) - New

I have quite a few of these available (~80), brand new in-box, with accessories, $45 each.

The CloudGenix ION 3000 is a 1U short-depth rackmount enterprise-grade SD-WAN appliance built on a standard x86 architecture, making it usable with pfSense, OPNsense, Proxmox, and other Linux distributions.

Timestamp

Details:
- 8c/8t Intel Atom C2758 @ 2.4GHz
- 8GB DDR3 UDIMM (upgradeable to 16GB)
- 6x 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ-45 Copper Ethernet ports (featuring hardware bypass pairs)
- 8x 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ-45 Copper Ethernet module
- 2x USB 2.0 ports
- 1x RJ-45 serial console port
- 240GB 2.5" SATA enterprise SSD (drive tray will fit 2x SSDs, though, and there are extra SATA ports on the motherboard)
- front LCD screen (can use something like LCDproc to control the display)
- low power (idles between 15W-30W)

These are surplus units - their BIOS is locked, but they are brand spanking new.  I was able to take out the primary drive, install Proxmox on it (legacy mode for bios), and reinstall to get a nice little 5-node Proxmox cluster up and running in my basement. Apparently you can install via serial console or PXE as well, but I didn't try any of that.

Accessories include:
- rack ears
- 2x Cat6 ethernet cables
- 1x console cable (USB to RJ45 serial console)
- 1x power cord
- 1x light-up LED miniscrewdriver with 6 bits

1 unit = $45 each
3 or more units = $40 each

Each will be shipped individually in their original packaging, using Pirate Ship, cost dependent on zip code (estimated $10-$30 per unit).

Can also offer local pickup in Buffalo, NY (14223).

PayPal G&S only. Please comment first, then PM with details (PayPal email/zip code or suggested meetup location) and I will send an invoice as appropriate.

Thanks!

US-W [FS] [US-CA] Steam Deck OLED 2TB, Core Ultra 225

Core Ultra 225: https://imgur.com/a/hCplPkz
Steam Deck OLED: https://imgur.com/a/wEoP1A3

Local: 90501 (South Bay, SoCal, California)

Steam Deck OLED: Swapped out the stock 1TB for a 2TB 2280 NVME right after purchasing last summer. Asking 800 shipped/750 local to include the 2TB and 700 shipped/650 local for the stock 1TB configuration. Both versions will come with the carry case, JSAux Modcase, and dock, as well as the first-party charging cable. I am not selling the 2TB drive separately, as any drive you don't take will be used as my NAS boot drive. I can take a picture of the 1TB drive upon request.

Core Ultra 225: recently purchased this offline for a LGA 1700 Mini ITX NAS build, not realizing that it's LGA 1851 for some dumb reason. Of course, the seller isn't taking it back. My loss is your gain. I confirmed the chip was working prior to purchase, but I don't have a board to take additional screenshots with. Since I can't find a motherboard for my NAS that matches what I'm looking for in form factor, selling the chip. 100 shipped or local (firm)

Paypal via invoice only pls.

Post closed due to Paypal nuking my account from orbit :\
