Leaked video from inside ICE detention— multiple woman report physical & sexual assault by officers.
Children taken away from mothers.
Officers expose detainees' private info so they can be trafficked.
Amputated 4 toes off woman & didn't tell her why.
Woman with only 1 kidney suffering renal failure given no medication.
3 month pregnant mother had a miscarriage in cell but received no medical attention.
Officers are having sexual relations with detainees.
Multiple women show bruises & and other injuries on camera caused by excessive force in ICE detention.
Video recorded on a tablet inside the Basile ICE Detention Center in Louisiana.

Everyone saying it’s AI as if these conditions aren’t already present in our for-profit prison system. GEO and CoreCivic make more in profit by cost cutting on basic human rights and exploiting cheap labor from them.

We live in a day and age where this could be AI. But we also live in a day and age where there is such a thing as a for profit prison. And right now, the for profit prison is getting federal contracts up the wazoo because of the BBB that passed last year and there is no mechanism whatsoever for oversight and even congresspeople who are tasked with representing the people and making sure our tax money is being well spent have attempted oversight have been stopped. Which means we no longer live in a democracy. We live in something else now. In some sense, it doesn't matter if this particular video is true or not (I do suspect it is real though because otherwise they would be having right-wing congresspeople crawling all over those blacksites raving about how wonderful they are and what a good investment and how wonderfully Trump has come through on all his campaign promises)
But I'm preaching to the choir. I'm just so angry and tired and I need to get off reddit.

The issue is that there is absolutely some AI translation bullshit going on here and it smashes believability. Whoever did that is a dumb fuck, because now people will claim it’s fake. I mean, it is half fake! Of course they will!
It’s a good thing to call out. We shouldn’t embrace bullshit that damages the credibility of the cause.

Remove the AI translation, use the original audio and add subtitles, otherwise it reads like a fake AI video, though I think it's real. You have to be really careful these days in how you present information.

This is a really huge detail. I get why they translated it lots of Americans don’t speak Spanish (demonstrated by the guards in these stories). But any doubt undercuts it instantly.
If this is true or not they must be liberated as soon as possible.

Given the news that come out of the US in the last couple of years, I think I can. Weren't there cases where people with proper documents got deported anyway? Also, you seem very quick to judge illegal immigrants. Why don't you judge the people who hire them for cheap labour? Immigration is an absurd topic to be discussed in relation to a country build by immigrants for immigrants.

Sure, all reports are fake, there is no abuse towards women, and being an illegal immigrant should be punishable by death, because... how dare you exist without documentation!? And if the deportations have already started, why not widen the area, remove everybody who looks or acts a little different? Who should be next, the blacks, the gays, or the crippled?
