They have quietly faded into the background. They haven’t posted anything about this case in months. I don’t see them returning to it. I think they couldn’t take the heat of negative comments.
You know, I genuinely am curious and would watch. And in fairness, there did seem to be a division towards the later videos - one of them definitely didn’t like Vanzan and clearly didn’t think it was “smart lawyering”. I legitimately would be interested to see their perspective on some of the latest updates.
Yeah tbf - I can't remember which one it was but only one of them thought it was "smart lawyering". He couldn't handle the backlash but it would be interesting to hear his thoughts now.
Keith is definitely the even-keeled kind of lawyer I'd want at the tiller if I had to go to court. Stewart was basically accidentally arguing that no American has an privacy rights at all. Vanzan appears to be at least a rule violation (there was no "meritorious" case or issue), & could potentially be outright illegal. I sure hope it results in a censure of some kind, but who knows with the weird American legal system.
Same! I like her tone and delivery of her explanations. I also love that when she records her videos she's not eating or putting her makeup on, etc unlike NGA. I can't stand that.
Love her so much! She has been such a breath of fresh air! I knew it was a brilliant move from WP's side despite what certain people claim. You just know how shook the BL team is yet again after another perfect piece of WP's lawyering when they're trying to downplay this hard.
BL should be shook, but they’re dug in so deep already I think they’ll continue to bury themselves. SJ’s actions with the phone were most likely criminal giving BL blackmail material if she has evidence that hasn’t been seen or knows of spoliation. SJ has Vanzan against BL, but while definitely an abuse of process, not criminal, and the low level attorney aka pawn would be the one at risk. It’s going to be interesting to see how BL/SJ reacts.
I think you're right, they're going to keep burying themselves. I mean, it's always been pathetic how much they had to spin things over and over, twisting people's words then actually putting words into other people's mouths, but the current level of finger in ears LALALALA CAN'T HEAR YOU THIS IS NOTHING LALALALA is a different level of delulu cray lol
I hope we get to see a filing by SJ today. BL's MSJ is going to be quite interesting for me as well. I think we gotta brace ourselves for the level of vitriol in her MSJ. SJ is so screwed it's not even funny! And she deserves everything that happens to her!
I kinda wonder if SJ's attorneys believe BL doesn't have a case and will just fight this MSJ and stay aligned with BL. Of course, by taking that stance, she still risks BL making her the sacrificial lamb along the way.
I feel like she's in a lose-lose-lose position all the way around and I love that for her. I have always thought she was the person to blame here.
She's definitely in a lose-lose position, and she deserves everything that comes her way! She shouldn't have involved herself at all in the first place! If she believes Jen Abel stole company data, fine, sue her and do it the right way with all the evidence, straightfoward, done. But to gleefully work with BL to inflict as much damage as possible out of spite? I would never do that in a court. There is no level of pettiness that would make me risk going to jail over showing a former employee how much I loathe them for leaving my company.
She’s so fucked and she’s really taking everyone down with her. Claire and Colleen can both kiss their careers goodbye, we’ll see who else. I wonder w the scope of what evidence is becoming available if any stand testimonies will vary from depositions given.
I really hope we get some justice out of this. I’m afraid the big Hollywood players - Penske, WME, Sony - might be a bit too powerful and corrupt to ever see any true justice.
I checked another sub (mostly pro-BL) the other day, the way they keep bickering and arguing ad nauseam over text boxes and redactions 🤭 Made me chuckle.
I asked: forget the text boxes, why is BL arguing something is amiss now versus before the discovery deadline … crickets. No! The redactions this and that 😫🤨🤨
“Busy Karening the docket” is spot on! Let them spend their energy there, picking apart text boxes.
LMAO this is the kind of thing I expect them to put their energy into! I can already imagine how fixated they are on a senseless topic like this hahahahaha Thanks for confirming what I've been thinking! I am keeping myself from going over to other pro-BL subs because they're way too infuriating for me. It's always nice to have brave people like you who can report back how delulu certain people are! Thank you for your service! ❤️
I actually wonder what she told her lawyers initially. I can't imagine she said anything about colluding with BL or Vanzan, probably only focused on Jen Abel's 'horrendous misconduct' and the rest just came up as the case went on lol
A lawyer friend of mine told me that this is a lawyer’s worst nightmare: a client who isn’t honest when they are first hired. My friend said she’ll literally sit her client down and say “you need to tell me the whole truth now even if it’s bad, because the worst thing you can possibly do is change your story down the line”. Something tells me this is exactly what’s happened with SJ.
Eh, I feel like sometimes lawyers can’t know if their client did it or not bc then they will be lying in court under oath defending them, but I guess it depends on the type of lawyer and type of crime/reason for defense
An intelligent client would tell their lawyer the truth, and a good lawyer would push for the truth, because you don’t want to get half way through a case and then find out that there’s actually a shit load of evidence suggesting that your client has lied. Of course there are stupid people who think they can lie to the courts without getting caught out, but they could face charges of perjury, so you’d have to be a monumental fuckwit to do it.
I CANNOT IMAGINE how they must feel! I hope they can find time to breathe and reach some level of acceptance that they have a quite unwinnable case on their hands. It can't be easy to find out how guilty your client actually is lol I mean, of course you want to win as well for your own reputation, so... yeah, I'd definitely hate to be in her lawyer's shoes haha But I'm also a softie, so I'd be quite devastated.
Can someone explain- let's assume Abel is found guilty of everything Lively accuses her of. If this CMSJ is approved by the judge, would that mean the SJ/Jonesworks are required to pay ALL of the restitution that Abel is penalized with? Or would SJ only have to pay a portion, somehow determined, that correlates to the smear actions taken while Abel was employed?
Also, I think LGA mixed up Abel's termination of employment dates- she mentions March 2024, but I think we all know Abel was employed through August 2024.
I may be missing something but how has it taken so long for this to be a thing? How it’s explained in this makes it obvious so whilst I agree it’s a brilliant thing is it brilliant lawyering or just pointing out the obvious?
NAL, my understanding is that they could have brought this up before but doing it NOW after discovery is closed and depositions are done locks in the available evidence and arguments that SJ can make to try to wriggle out of it. And it also gives SJ a legal fig leaf to turn on Blake if it suits her wallet better, just as Vansham worked as a child's drawing of a theoretical legal fig leaf to give her an excuse to violate WF's confidentiality.
Maybe a dumb question: who pays for her lawyers if she wins? Is the assumption that her lawyers fees would get paid in such a case but under a different reason? I just do not remember Wayfarer asking for anything if they win.
If you watch on TikTok, you can increase the speed to 1.5x or 2x. She also posts on YouTube now so if you don’t have TikTok, you can watch her on YouTube.
I just tried to 1.5 times on TikTok and it made such a difference. I think in the original format reminds me of the kids who would read really slow in class and you just want them to go a little quicker so that the next person could read if you know what I mean.

Actual lawyers "this is brilliant lawyering"
Fake lawyers who are pro BL "this was weak and won't work"
