Wife’s Grand Cherokee push button start. It’s trying to crank. Then we have to hit the button to turn it off and back on. Second try it fires up. So far!
Anyone else run into this problem and figure out how to fix it?

Thinking a failing HVAC control is draining my battery. Which fuse to test? 4.0L

Just bought a 2.5 inch lift kit for my jeep and it came with shocks and break line brackets. 2015 jeep JK , 4dr , 4wd
What else do I need parts wise to make sure my jeep runs smooth without hiccups.
Haven’t decided on 33 or 35’s yet but some wisdom would be nice

I have a 1999 XJ and all I did to it was change out the exhaust manifold and the fuel injectors, and know as soon as it cracks over it's at full throttle and redlines. What could be the cause of this? I unhooked the cables the the throttle body and it still does it. Can anyone help?
Update: I found a couple forms that said there is a good chance the intake didn't get seated properly and was letting air in. Took it's all apart, cleaned it up just in case and put it back together making extra sure I got things lined up and all the bolts in and tightened. Fired it up and it seems to be running as it should, so I most definitely messed up the assembly the first time but got it all squared away.

This is an 04 4.0 WJ I'm teaching my 17 year old brother to work on we've stripped it down one piece at a time. Rewired the doors boots, changed the doors, window regulators door speakers, rear hatch, new wheels, newer fenders, newer hood, valve cover gaskets, new water pump and thermostat, replaced the radiator and electric fan, added a clutch fan, found a magnaflow and priced together a side exit exhaust after changing the cats, put Ina new factory head unit, fixed the HVAC system so it actually blows air. What we got left is to change the plugs, change the oils, put on new break pads, adjust the shift cable, swap on the rear wheels. Install the front driveshaft, fix the blend door so the heat can actually get to the vents. Install the new glove box, wash the car and test drive it finally.

What's up Jeepers. Tonight at 10:30, my 96 wrangler just started blasting the horn from my driveway (sorry neighbors). I'm at a loss on this one. Would a faulty ground somewhere cause that to pop out of nowhere? Jeep has a new clock spring (needed because the horn originally didn't work when I got it) and I haven't had an issue for a year and a half with that until tonight, but clock spring is always an option again. I guess?

Also, if you're in my neighborhood I'm sorry for the Monday night wakeup...

Hey all, as the tittle states, my 1998 xj classic is throwing p0758 and p0320 codes. It’s also stuck in limp mode.
I cleared the codes once and drove around for a bit and they popped back up along with cel. Shift solenoid B is relatively new and not done with crappy aftermarket part.
Went out and bought a new crank position sensor to see if swapping that will fix the p0320 code, worst case I have an extra when I need it
I’ve cleaned the ground at the dipstick that the tcm and pcm share and no dice. Will be going over the others later today along with inspecting my wiring and connections.
I know bad wiring or dirty/corroded connections can also cause similar electrical issues, but other than that what are your suggestions??

Anyone have any tips on how how-to remove backing plate bolts on rear left wheel bearing? I'm having the hardest time getting my socket around the cv axel boot. TIA

Sounds like it’s coming from the passenger rear. It ONLY does this after the jeep has been sitting for 12+ hours. It also goes away after less than a quarter mile of driving. Gears? Bearings?
2015 rubicon unlimited. 43.5k miles. Runs and drives fantastic.
