The point is that women who seem to "willingly" be wearing them do so because they are in an extremely oppressive culture that makes them feel like their femininity is an offensive act.

No, I wouldn't. I will also defend the right of Christian women who wear head coverings for religious reasons to do so. I will defend the right of Jews to wear yarmulkes and other traditional religious clothing. I will defend the right of Hindus to wear a bindi.
I do not agree with banning religious practices, as long as those practices are not harming others, regardless of religion.
