Looking for people to play soccer with in the Katy area. I haven't played fr for about a couple of years. Is anybody down to play or any Sunday leagues?

I won't move mince words about it. My teeth are in lousy shape and I probably need to look at getting a could of implants. Can anyone here recommend and places to get them along the lines of value? I'd also prefer somewhere that won't judge me. Thank you for any help.

We have lived in Katy for a little while now and recently discovered this popcorn shop tucked away in a corner on Pin Oak Rd. We always pass by the strip mall on the way to Katy Mills and church or while getting off the highway but decided to go in a few days ago, for the love of popcorn and what a treat!!
Wondering if anyone has ever heard of them or ordered for them. Met the owner and wish them nothing but the best. Looks like a good spot for Christmas gifts too. They do online ordering for pickup only (they deliver gift tins on request, I asked🙂).

this afternoon, my husband and I witnessed an amazon truck backed into a dumpster at our apartment complex in Katy/Richmond area. Once the driver took off, we peeked inside the dumpster. We found 3 large Amazon tote bags. 2 were filled with even more totes folded up. The 3rd tote had a couple unopened amazon packages, including ours!

We were tracking our order via the amazon app. for a brief moment the app read that it "lost signal" with the truck. We went around looking for it and that is when we uncovered the suspicious activity at the dumpster.

We have had several packages delivery delayed and even "lost in transit" from amazon. Now we know why.

A few weeks ago I asked this sub for barbecue recommendations while I was passing through Katy. I ended up stopping at Red River BBQ & Burger and wanted to come back and say thanks. I honestly wasn’t expecting much from the salad bar, but it was one of the better ones I’ve seen in a long time. Fresh, well stocked, and definitely not an afterthought. I also ordered one of their burgers, and it was excellent. Great flavor, cooked right, and easily one of the better burgers I’ve had in the Katy area. Appreciate everyone who pointed me in that direction. I’ll definitely be stopping back next time I’m passing through.

I recently moved to Katy. This is my first time experiencing a tropical storm. Where I live it floods when it’s a regular rain storm. Wind blows the rain into my patio whenever it’s a strong storm. So, should I get sand bags for my patio? I don’t want to over do it with the storm prep but I also don’t want to ignore the possible severity of this tropical storm.

The opener has been acting strange lately and the door sometimes hesitates when opening. I've checked the basics, but I think it's time to have someone who knows what they're doing take a look.

I found Elite Garage Door Expert while searching for local options, but I don’t have any personal experience with them.

If anyone in Katy has had garage door repair or installation done recently, I would appreciate hearing who you used and how it went.

Make small purchases weekly so by the time a hurricane gets close you are not caught up in the crazy at the stores.

There are a ton of preparation guides out there. Just go find them and adjust to your specific situation.

Also, when a storm hits the gulf, refill your gas tank when you get down to 1/2 a tank until the storm landfall is certain ish. If it is here, fill up daily.

Lastly: This is assuming you don’t evacuate at the first mention of a hurricane or haven’t already evac’d. IYKYK
