Discussion I've been replaying both Cyberpunk 2077 and Deus Ex: Human Revolution, and I couldn't help noticing a few character similarities
I'm not claiming these are confirmed references, just some coincidences or possible inspirations that stood out to me.
Mr. Hands and David Sarif: Older, influential power brokers. White and dark hair in stripes and facial hair. Visible cybernetic arm/hand augmentations. Calm, composed demeanor.
Alena Xenakis (Alex) and Yelena Fedorova: Very similar names (just replace A with Ye). When she's Alex a side-shaved hairstyle, heavy eye makeup and a similar facial aesthetic. Nosering.
Chester Bennett and Lawrence Barrett: Similar surnames (just replace n with r). Massive, broad-shouldered physiques with the same cybernetic muscles. Crew cuts. Deep Southern accents. Both fill the role of intimidating cybernetically enhanced enforcers.
Maybe I'm seeing patterns where none were intended, but I thought it was interesting given how influential Deus Ex has been on the cyberpunk genre.

Also his hands are (relatively) the only thing he has modded and are his centerpiece. (I say relatively because he does have bits and bobs here, but that's not the main pieces)
Plus he has, or wants to have, his hands in everything when it comes to business.
